Merrick Baliton is the Lunar Wolf Wild Force Ranger of the Wild Force Power Rangers and a professor at Ranger Academy.

While the HyperForce Rangers are seeing the destruction of Emperor Mavro, they also witness the arrival of every Legendary Power Ranger including Merrick and the other Wild Force Rangers, and the start of the Legendary Battle.

All Rangers reunited against Lord Drakkon
When events set into motion by Lord Drakkon cause the timeline to split into a pocket universe, each anchored on a powerset, the Wild Force Rangers are split off into their own pocket universe.

Eventually receiving Zordon's call through the Morphin Grid, Merrick is among numerous Rangers who rally to his pocket dimension lead by Eric the Quantum Ranger outside the Command Center for the last stand against Lord Drakkon and unite in the Command Center. Merrick has his Morpher upgraded by Doctor K. He is teleported on the Moon of the World of the Coinless for the fight against Drakkon and his Ranger Sentries, led by Jason Lee Scott. During the battle, Eric along with other Red Rangers use their Battlizers,
Merrick and the other Rangers defeated by Lord Drakkon at the same time.
Merrick along with Eric, Carter, Jack Landors the S.P.D. Red Ranger and Lauren Shiba the Red Samurai Ranger were going to attack Drakkon but are easily defeated by him, during the battle, Lord Drakkon drained his Ranger powers as a result and killed him. Merrick is also seen briefly in Tommy's vision when an alternate Kimberly shot a Green Chaos Crystal thrown at him. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Shattered Grid Finale Issue 1
Merrick 's timeline is later restored by the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers after they defeated Drakkon.
Darkest Hour[]
Taylor meeting the HyperForce Rangers on a ruined Animarium .
The Death Ranger came to the Animarium seeking new recruits. Merrick and his fellow Wild Force Rangers fought against the Death Ranger and were captured except for Taylor, while the Animaria was in ruin and Princess Shayla nearly killed. Later, it's revealed that Cole, Max, and Alyssa are possessed by the Death Ranger, having skull mouths in their helmets. Max and Cole are seen behind the Death Ranger, saying their Mistress wanted everything. COMIC STORY- Power Rangers Unlimited: Hyperforce
