Maya is the Yellow Galaxy Ranger of the Galaxy Rangers.
History[]
Shattered Grid[]
In Terra Venture, Maya along with Leo and Karone fighting against Drakkon's forces.
When events set into motion by Lord Drakkon cause the timeline to split into a pocket universe, each anchored on a powerset. The Galaxy Rangers are split off into their own pocket universe before Drakkon then attacks them.

When Zordon and Alpha 5 patch Jen Scotts’s technology with Zordon’s teleportation technology and sends a warning across time and space to all the various Ranger groups, Maya is seen with Leo and Karone fighting against Lord Drakkon's Ranger Sentries. It's later unknown what became of her fate after Drakkon attacks Terra Venture but it's possible that she is captured. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Boom! Studios) Issue 27
Maya's timeline is later restored by the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers after they defeated Drakkon.
The Trial of Astronema[]
Maya interrupts the trial.
At a distant corner of the universe, a multitude of alien races, despite their differences, unite and have gathered to bear witness to the fate of Karone.
When the judge asks how Karone would like to plead, Maya along with Leo and Andros groups in the court stop the hearing to plead on her behalf. After that, Andros gives his testimony, realizing this is possibly a kangaroo court, as Karone was taken against her will, has no legal defense and no one willing to defend her, the three Rangers decide to act as defense witnesses and legal defense representatives.
When different alien races begin to give their testimony as victims of Astronema, Maya declared to the court how Karone stepped up to be the Pink Galaxy Ranger and is worthy as her predecessor’s spirit gave her blessing after her death at the hands of Psycho Pink to wield to Quasar Saber. She considers Karone a good friend and she has seen Karone repent her sins by becoming a hero, unfortunately, her testimony was contradicted by the prosecutor explained that Astronema created the Psycho Rangers a year ago to kill the Power Rangers thus Maya’s assessment that Karone is a friend and hero is hypocritical. The prosecutor then calls for a recess and for the jury to deliberate on a verdict.
In a waiting room, Karone is horrified by all the things she did as Astronema. Maya tries to comfort her while Andros and Leo think that some evil force is deceiving Karone up but this angers Karone as she knows she is guilty and trying to make excuses for her crimes is pathetic.
The recess ends and the head judge says that the weight of Karone's acts of tyranny and cruelty are too vast to lighten the decision of the jury. Before the judge can proclaim the verdict, Astronema appears while Karone is standing in the courtroom, with Andros claiming that the Z-wave in the final battle split Karone and Astronema into two separate beings and the evil half is responsible for all the crimes and thus his sister is innocent. The panicked crowd goes into a murderous frenzy and Astronema battles them while the Rangers escape to the Astro Megaship with Karone in tow.

As they leave, they see Astronema die on the view screen at the hands of a security team and vaporize, Maya witness this by listening to Andros's plan to protect Karone. After the discussion of Karone and Andros, Karone then asks Maya to pilot a shuttle back to Mirinoi to pack her belongings for Terra Venture. when Andros is escorted by Leo, leaving the room, Maya asks if Karone is okay. Karone says she isn’t right now, but she will be someday.

Darkest Hour[]
The Galaxy Rangers are seen as Dark Specter spreads his infection throughout the Morphin Grid.
Mistress Vile spreads Dark Specter's infection throughout the Morphin Grid, eventually reaching Maya and the other Galaxy Rangers.
Later, Mistress Vile's fleet is stationed on the occupied Safehaven where various Rangers have been captured and imprisoned. Among them include Maya as they await their fate from Dark Specter. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Boom! Studios) Issue 114
After Kiya Kyatyl destroys the Master Arch in Safehaven, Mistress Vile gifts Dark Specter a staff that allows him to breach the Morphin Grid. The Galaxy Rangers are seen among a multitude of other Ranger teams as Dark Specter opens a portal into the Grid and spreads his infection further. COMIC STORY- Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (Boom! HyperForce[]
While the HyperForce Rangers are seeing the destruction of Emperor Marvo, they also witness the arrival of every Legendary Power Ranger including Maya and the other Galaxy Rangers, and the start of the Legendary Battle. TV STORY-Stage 4: The Armada
