Icon-kiramagerThis article is about a companion/ally who doubles as a mecha vehicle in Mashin Sentai Kiramager.

Mashin Shovellow (マシンショベロー Mashin Shoberō), initially the Yellow Kiramai Stone (イエローキラメイストーン Ierō Kiramei Sutōn), is Kiramai Yellow's Excavator Shovel Mecha. Shovellow is also the self-proclaimed leader of the unofficial "Shovellow Corps", consisting of himself and the first three auxiliary Mashins.

History

to be added

Personality

Temperamental and short-fused due to being older than the other stones, Shovellow often argues with his partner and is quick to criticize, often taking things to a standstill point, though he does have a good (yet overly ambitious) part of him.

Behind the Scenes

Portrayal

Notes

  • His name comes from the words shovel and yellow.
    • This makes Shovellow the only one of the Five Core Mashin that has their pilots color added to their name in some way.
  • Mashin Shovellow is the first character in the Super Sentai series portrayed by Mitsuo Iwata that is not a villainous role.
  • Mashin Shovellow is the first Yellow Ranger Mecha since Dumpmaru that is based on a Construction Vehicle.
    • Mashin Shovellow is also the first Core Ranger Mecha that is based on an Excavator Shovel.
      • Mashin Shovellow is also the first Excavator Shovel mecha since GoGo Shovel.
        • Coincidently, The Method that Mashin Shovellow attaches to Land Mage & Kiramazin as the left arm is also similar how GoGo Shovel attaches to DaiBouken to form DaiBouken Shovel.
  • Shovellow's left headlight has a molded circular crosshairs disc, evokactive of a monocle in order to imply his age.
