Serving as the sequel to Mashin Sentai Kiramager Spin-Off: Yodonna, Mizuki and Yodonna infiltrate yazuka territory to save Mizuki's captured brother.
Synopsis[]
Yodonna learns different emotions with the help of Mizuki. By learning emotions which she had never experienced before, Yodonna also forms a bond with Mizuki, even though she initially wanted to use Mizuki only to revive herself. But trouble ensues when Mose comes to earth from the Yodon Soul Administration Department and tells Mizuki about Yodonna's original plan. Mizuki is shocked to find out that even though she trusted Yodonna, she ended up being deceived by her as well. Mose also powers up Hideki with Yodonna's whip to get Yodonna to return to Yodonheim. How will things turn out for Yodonna and Mizuki? Will Yodonna succeed in reviving herself? Will Mizuki be able to save her brother?[1]
Continuity and Placement[]
- Takes place immediately after the events of Mashin Sentai Kiramager Spin-Off: Yodonna and before the events of Mashin Sentai Kiramager Spin-Off: Yodonna 3: Yodonna's Valentine, and leading up into the events of Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger vs. Kiramager vs. Senpaiger.
Plot[]
Mizuki is crying, and next to her, Yodonna's spirit appears and tells the viewers about the previously occurred events. She also says that there are people among humans who are worse than the Yodon Army. Then the story picks up where it last left off, with Yodonna asking Mizuki what emotion she (and resultantly Yodonna herself) is experiencing. Mizuki responds that she is experiencing sadness. That is because someone she trusted betrayed her.
Mizuki asks if Yodonna doesn't understand that emotion. Then Yodonna tries to understand the sadness caused by the betrayal of a loved one and recalls the time when Emperor Yodon killed her. She realizes that she has experienced sadness before. Then Yodonna's spirit starts glitching and goes into an apparent state of shock. She also doesn't respond to Mizuki's calling. Mizuki feels that she said a bit too much and apologizes. Then Yodonna thinks to herself that when she remembers the moment of her death, her heart feels like it's dying all over again.
At Yodonheim, Mose expresses his anger about Yodonna using his spear to return to the human world. Hern yells at Mose, saying that if he doesn't judge Yodonna, the Soul Administration Department will fall apart. Mose fears Hern's anger and thinks that it is his fault for not paying attention. He believes that he must bring Yodonna's soul back, or else Hern might erase him next. Hern tries to explain something related to Yodonna, but Mose cuts in and takes responsibility for this incident. Then he uses his spear to send himself to the human world. Hern tries to stop him and finish his explanation, but Mose runs off without listening. Hern feels frustrated and wonders why no one ever lets him finish his talking and runs off before he has the chance.
At his office, Hideki eats his meal while watching CCTV footage of his men torturing Shosuke. Yanako enters the office with an eyepatch on her injury from earlier, and Hideki comments that she has become more beautiful. Yanako tells him not to tease her and also says that she'll never forgive Mizuki. Hideki tells her that there is no need to rush and that Mizuki will surely come to them.
After that, Mizuki collects Shosuke's phone from the locker and thinks to herself that it'll be hard to fight the goons without Yodonna's help while she is in a state of shock. She considers asking for Juru's help but decides not to burden him and do something by herself. When Mizuki tries to stand up, she feels weak with the life energy transfer almost complete. She then reminds herself that she has to do her best.
Mizuki arrives at the warehouse and feels scared going in all alone. She calls for Yodonna again but gets no response. Tetsu says that Mizuki is right on time. Mizuki asks why Tetsu is helping the Yakuza despite being a police officer. Tetsu answers that cops are only human, and as people grow old, it is natural for something pure and white to get dirtier.
Then he asks Mizuki if she brought Shosuke's phone with her. Mizuki takes the phone out, and Tetsu orders one of the gang members to collect it. The gang member takes the phone and plays the video evidence on the phone. Mizuki then says that Shosuke thought of Tetsu as the perfect police officer. She also thought the same. Mizuki adds that the public considers the police their heroes and asks how Tetsu could betray those expectations. Tetsu replies that he has indeed betrayed people who had foisted their beliefs in them, but that is not his problem.
Then the gang member says that he has wiped the phone's memory. Mizuki then demands her brother back since Tetsu has gotten what he had wanted. Tetsu then reveals to her that Shosuke is not in the warehouse & Mizuki understands that he had lied to her. Mizuki tells Tetsu that he sucks and considers whether she should stop being cunning since she doesn't want people to misunderstand her as a person like him. Tetsu tells Mizuki that they need to wipe her memory too, and the goons gather around her. Mizuki asks him if they will kill her, and Tetsu tells the goons to beat her up as they please.
A gang member then tries to punch Mizuki, but she blocks it, with Yodonna taking complete control of her body. Yodonna, in Mizuki's body, asks the gang members what they are going to do with Mizuki. Tetsu is surprised to see her fight as she knocks the goon over with a strong punch. Mizuki is glad to see Yodonna back to normal, and Yodonna asks her what emotion she is experiencing. She also says that she wants to wallop all those people. Mizuki tells her that Yodonna is experiencing anger. Yodonna learns what anger is and says that she has prior experience with this emotion as well. Tetsu watches in surprise as Yodonna in Mizuki's body beats up all the goons. Hideki watches the CCTV footage of the fight in his office and is surprised to learn about Mizuki's combat abilities. He also tells Yanako (who is also watching the footage) that he understands how Mizuki beat her.
After beating quite a few goons, Yodonna comments that Mizuki's body is out of shape. She also tells Mizuki to exercise regularly. Mizuki responds sarcastically to her, saying that she will comply. Yodonna says that she doesn't trust Mizuki's words regarding this. Mizuki warns Yodonna about someone coming to attack her from behind, and Yodonna resumes the fight. After fighting another goon, she goes to confront Tetsu. Tetsu holds Mizuki at gunpoint and says that they are done playing. She steals the gun from him and shoots his knee.
Mizuki then thanks Yodonna & Yodonna remarks that Mizuki is smiling. Yodonna asks Mizuki whether that is because she is experiencing pleasure. But Mizuki corrects her saying that she is experiencing happiness. She is happy because Yodonna became angry for Mizuki's sake. Then Mizuki loses her balance as Yodonna sees that Mizuki has lost almost all of her life energy, and the transfer is nearing completion. Mose then appears in front of Mizuki and asks if Yodonna is in her body. Tetsu questions Mose's identity, and Mose destroys his soul.
After that, Mizuki asks about Mose's identity. Yodonna answers that Mose is a guide for the Soul Administration Department. Mose then tells Yodonna that if she uses Datula's device, he can not take her back with him. Yodonna asks him if he has come to take her back, to which Mose answers in the affirmative. He also says that at that rate, Hern will erase Mose. And then, he wonders what he should, and asks if he should cut the hose that connects Yodonna with Mizuki. Yodonna says that if the hose gets cut, she will disappear. Mose says that he can not let Yodonna disappear, so he will let her finish absorbing Mizuki's life energy. And once her revival is complete, he will take her soul once more.
Mizuki is confused and asks Mose what he is saying. Mose reveals Yodonna's plan to Mizuki, and she is shocked to learn the truth. Yodonna tries to explain that she was targeting someone else at first, but Mizuki says that Yodonna sucks and that she is hurt to know that Yodonna deceived her as well. Yodoona is sad after upsetting Mizuki. Then Yanako kicks Mizuki from the back, and she loses consciousness. Mose and Yanako then ask about each others' identities.
Mizuki wakes up at Hideki's office in the presence of Hideki, Yanako, and Mose. Hideki asks Mizuki if she is finally awake. Mizuki asks him whether he is the Yakuza boss. Hideki then introduces himself to Mizuki. He then says that he never thought that Mizuki's power comes from a supernatural source and that Mose explained everything to them. Hideki is intrigued to learn that there is a ghost named Yodonna inside of Mizuki. Yanako then says that there is no way she would lose to Mizuki in a fair fight, and that is why Mizuki cheated.
Mose tells Yodonna that Hideki and Yanako want to kill Mizuki immediately, but they won't until Yodonna's revival. Hideki says that if Mizuki dies, then a ghost from another world will be resurrected, and there is no way he would miss such an intriguing show. He also brings out Shosuke to witness it. Hideki then tells Shosuke about the situation.
Yodonna then starts becoming visible, and they all see her. Hideki remarks that Mizuki is fading. Yodonna then says that Mizuki is the first person to teach her pleasure. She also says that Mizuki was angry when she learned about Yodonna's deception, and now there is sadness in Mizuki's eyes. Yodonna says that she is also feeling sad and that she made Mizuki feel the same pain and shock that Emperor Yodon inflicted upon Yodonna. Mizuki taught Yodnna about many emotions as her partner.
Then Yidonna disconnects the hose from herself and Mizuki, much to Mose's dismay. She then destroys the device. Mizuki then asks Yodonna why she cut the cord since that will cause her to die. Yodonna responds that she has a temporary physical form for the amount of life energy she has already absorbed. Mizuki asks Yodonna what she means. Yodonna says that she will help Mizuki and Shosuke escape and tells Mizuki to leave the rest of the job to her.
Then Yanako goes to attack Yodonna but is defeated by the latter. Yodonna heads towards Mose after defeating Yanako. Sensing trouble, Mose tells Hideki to take care of Yodonna and returns to Yodonheim. Yodonna fights Hideki and tells Mizuki to free Shosuke, and Mizuki does as told. While fighting Yodonna, Hideki gives her a proposal to work for him, saying that they can make a lot of profit if they work together. Yodonna answers him, saying that he must be crazy.
After freeing Shosuke, Mizuki watches Yodonna struggle to defeat Hideki with her brother. Yodonna sees how strong her whip made Hideki, as expected from her whip. She sees that she doesn't have much time, and Mizuki tells Yodonna not to lose. Yodonna tells Mizuki to run because she must live and that Yodonna will protect Mizuki. Hideki prepares his final attack, and Yodonna turns her whip into a sickle to block it. Yodonna and Hideki clash for the last time, and Hideki is defeated.
Shosuke arrests Hideki and Yodonna collapses on the floor. Mizuki rushes to Yodonna's side, and Yodonna is glad that Mizuki is safe. Yodonna cries and asks Mizuki why tears are coming out even though Yodonna is not sad. Mizuki replies that tears can also come out when people are happy, and that is happiness. Yodonna learns about happiness and says that it is a good feeling. As Yodonna begins to fade away, Mizuki cries and wants Yodonna not to disappear. Yodonna says that Mizuki can have her life back and asks if Mizuki forgives her. Mizuki says that she forgives Yodonna, and they have made up. She also requests Yodonna not to disappear. Yodonna thanks Mizuki and says that she now understands what it means to smile because of Mizuki. Then Yodonna disappears completely, and Mizuki smiles, looking up at a beam of light.
Back at the rooftop of the building, Juru exclaims with joy as he finally clears a level of the game. Tametomo says that it is getting dark and that there is no point waiting for Mizuki to return, and Juru realizes the time. Juru rejects Tametomo's claim saying that Mizuki may be mean, but she keeps her promises. That is what Juru likes about her. Tametomo understands Juru and says that he is jealous of them because they seem to be having fun. He then says that he prefers nice girls. But Juru reminds him that Tametomo liked priestess Yodonna. Tametomo is seemingly hurt hearing this and tells Juru to forget about it and not mention it again. Juru complies and says to forget that he ever said that.
Mizuki arrives and apologizes for that delay. She smiles at Juru and fixes her hair, with Tametomo being surprised at her arrival. Tametomo and Juru both stare at Mizuki, causing her to ask if her face is still dirty. Tametomo remarks on Mizuki's smile, saying that her smile doesn't look like the smile of a mean girl, and Juru agrees. Mizuki is annoyed at Tametomo for still being there. She then pushes Tametomo and leaves with Juru. Tametomo says that she is mean after all and follows after them.
In a post-credits scene, Yodonna wakes up back at Yodonheim. She is surprised to see that her soul didn't get destroyed. Hern comes and tells her it is because she didn't listen to his words in their entirety. He finishes what he was trying to say earlier- that if she learns the main four emotions: pleasure, anger, sadness, and happiness, then Hern will allow Yodonna to revive. But she didn't listen to him properly and rampaged out of the Soul Administration Department, as well as Mose. As a result of his actions, Hern has trapped Mose inside of stone & Mose is asking for forgiveness.
Yodonna says that she learned the four basic emotions from Mizuki and she smiles thinking about it. She then asks Hern whether she can be revived or not. Hern says that he was planning to allow Yodonna to resurrect, but that won't happen anymore since she acted out, which she accepts. However, he says that Yodonna can revive if she can learn one more emotion- love. Yodonna smiles and wonders who she should get to teach her this emotion. Back at the rooftop, Tametomo looks back, thinking if someone called for him- this hints that Tametomo may be a potential candidate to teach Yodonna the final emotion. The special ends with the screen saying, "to be continued?".
