Masaru Shishido (宍戸勝 Shishido Masaru) played Goro Hoshino (OhRed) in Choriki Sentai Ohranger. Archive recording of his voice was used in Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger vs. Super Sentai.
He also played one of Shurikenger's human forms in Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger.
Shishido reprise his role as Goro Hoshino in Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger episodes "Crash!! Secret Operations" and "One Power". Archive footage of his appearance was used in "The Confused Ninja".
As a child, he appeared in the 32nd episode of Ultraman 80 before returning to the Ultra Series with the 15th episode of Ultraman Dyna.[1][2]
Since 2009, he signs his given name in katakana (宍戸 マサル).
In 2012, he opened a bar based on Tokusatsu, including Super Sentai.
In November 20, 2019, he opened a restaurant called Bay-Sun, registered by dietitian Yuuko Sonobe for a limited time as part of a shared restaurant venture.
He is not related to Kai Shishido, whose surname is written similarly.
