And the second FEMALE Partner of Sky force W6 RYU Tendo and a second first female to be part of The Sky Force Team. the first and true love of ryu tendo.she is chosen by commander aya odagiri whom the responsible for the J -project together with Sky Force codename W6 and his true love ryu tendo. after ryu tendo being cast by birdman waves.the vyram appear ont he sky force Earth Ship.and tries to destroy the Sky Force Earth Ship.some part of the earth ship have a hole where the vyram made that cause rie aoi stucked and his first love, ryu tendo on the other hand tries to pull his hand on Rie Aoi's Hand.when the air comes from the hole itself was very strong, rie aoi's hand was coindently removed by ryu tendo that cause her to get on the hole and was kidnapped by Count Radiguet, the vyram elite leader.radiguet brainwashed rie aoi to remove her memories as a human and to become one of the new female vyram elite member to be named as maria.armed with Necrod.Her First Weapon.and responsible for creating Bio Dimensional BUG that it becomes a Bio Dimensional Monster when the bug itself is put on the objects that they search from the earth.Very beautiful but very Cruel to her same gender.Loves to play the piano even when she was a human.

Despite being brainwashed, she still loved to play the piano and often played it for [[Grey]]. Eventually, after being wounded by [[Majin Ramon and Gorg]], she reverted back into her former self, Rie, in front of Ryu, reuniting the couple. After his defeat at the hands of Jetmen and Radiguet, Radiguet used his blood and turned Maria into a vampiric creature. Ryu freed her from the state and she turned back into Rie, but weighed down by the guilt of the things she commited as Maria, she told him she didn't belong with him. When Radiguet showed up, she stabbed him in the back and he fatally slashed her in response. She told Ryu to let her go, to erase her from his heart and keep the soul of a warrior. Grey arrived and took Rie away to a beach. When she died, Grey cried, and his tears dissolved her body, scattering it to the ocean.

Rie was the first female to be part of the Sky Force Team, and was supposed to become White Swan. She was 22 years old and the second female partner of Ryu Tendo.

The first and true love interest of Ryu, they were chosen by commander Aya Odagiri to be exposed to the Birdonic Waves. After Ryu was fully exposed to the Birdonic waves, however, Dimensional War Party Vyram appeared and tried to destroy the Sky Force's Earth Ship.
