―Manners No.1's first words[src]

"I learned... some true manners! (本当のマナー… 勉強させていただきました! Hontō no manā… benkyō sa sete itadakimashita!)"
―Manners No.1's final words[src]

Manners No.1 (マナーノーワン Manā No Wan) is a manners-themed No.1 Monster from the No One World Bridan, created from an unnamed Well Mannered Man, out of his desire to teach others about manners.

History

Manners No.1 appears from a tire and generates by using the old man as his host. Manners No.1 politely introduces himself to Hoeru and Ryugi and gives them a business card. Ryugi gleefully takes it but Hoeru threatens to attack the No.1 Monster. Manners No.1 says that threatening him is impolite and generates a heavy chain around Hoeru's neck called Manner Chain. The No.1 Monster also mentioned that the said chain will keep weighing Hoeru down the more impolite acts he does, which ticked Hoeru even further. Ryugi prepares to attack Manners No.1, but suddenly, all three of them are frozen in place after someone blowed a Whistle!

Not long after that, Universe Warrior Red Racer appears and attacks Manners No.1 while he's frozen. She says that he's putting himself and others in danger since his foot was 1.5 centimeters into the road line. With Ryugi seemingly recognizes her voice, Manners No.1 confronts the newcomer before apologizing and gives her a business card, only for Red Racer kicks him into the sky because his pointy business cards could also pose a danger.

Manners No.1 keeps summoning chains on people to weigh them down for not having good enough manners. Ryugi appears and politely introduces himself to the No.1 before challenging him to a Manners Number One Battle. However, Hoeru is also somehow dragged into this battle. In the first round, Manners and Ryugi display their etiquette when visiting someone else's how, with the No.1 gifting them and Ryugi sitting down properly. Hoeru, however, enters the house with dirty feet, so Manners No.1 puts an additional weight around his chain, despite Hoeru noticing that his feet are dirty too. In the second round, which is focused on table manners, Manners No.1 shows how to use cutlery while Ryugi folds his napkin after finishing his meal. Hoeru drinks from a bowl of water, but Manners No.1 tells him that the water in the bowl should be used to clean your fingers, rather than to drink, and adding another weight. In the third round, which is focused around manners in an old Japanese-styled house, Manners No.1 shows how to open a door, while Ryugi displays how to walk on a mat. Hoeru, however, steps on the edges of the mat, so Manners No.1 places yet another weight around his chain, and punishes Hoeru by electrocuting him for failing three times consecutively.

Ryugi and Manners No.1 prepare for the last round of the Manners battle - The manners of combat - but are stopped by Shoko, who transforms into Red Racer to protect Ryugi. She starts fighting Manners No.1, who tells her that her fighting is lacking in manners and places Manner Chain around her neck to weigh her down. Despite her pleas to not fight back, Ryugi transforms to face the No.1, but not before bowing. While fighting, Manners No.1 tells Ryugi that he should keep a better eye on his tools, manage to evade Ryugi attack by bowing 90°, before attacking him with his business cards. Ryugi wonders how to surpass the No.1 with manners, but then Manners No.1 trips over Hoeru. Manners No.1 starts lecturing him about his lack of manners, but Hoeru is fed up with The No.1 Monster’s biased judgement and bites his leg. Declaring that he had enough with Manners No.1 and his annoying obsession towards maintaining a biased Good Mannerisms, Hoeru transforms into Gozyu Wolf and starts approaching him, despite the chains still weighing him down. He then jumps and ulitizes the chains' weight the lend a headbutt at Manners No.1 from above (subsequently recreating the 180° bow), resulting with Hoeru breaking free from his Manner Chain.

Hoeru barked at Manners No.1 that telling people how impolite they are is just as impolite, even borderlining as bullying. Hearing Hoeru's conviction, Ryugi realizes that this is what it means to be well-mannered. Suddenly, Bridan reinforcements appear in the form of Ayayser Red Flash, piloted by Cho Shinsei, and Mr. Shining Knife and Ms. Sweetcake. Manners No.1 thanks them for coming to his aid, while Hoeru is annoyed that three more pains in the neck have joined the battle. Mr. Shining Knife asks from Hoeru and Ryugi to hand their Sentai Rings, but is shot by Kinjiro using his EagleShooter50, who appears alongside Rikuo and Sumino. The latter two transform to fight Mr. Shining Knife and Ms. Sweetcake, while Kinjiro summons TegaSword Green to fight the Dress Guard.

Meanwhile, Ryugi and Hoeru continue fighting Manners No.1, and Ryugi thanks Hoeru for helping him realize what true manners are. Manners No.1 sends his business cards at the two, who easily parried all of them. Manners No.1 then realizes that he ran out of business cards, which is ironically a breach of etiquette by his own standard. Ryugi tells him that it's fine, because he doesn't need a card to greet himself politely. Manners No.1 gets emotional over Ryugi being nice to him despite his impolite behaviour. Ryugi tells him that manners shouldn't be used to look down on people, but rather to help them improve themselves, as Manners are ultimately a form of communication between two people heart. Manners No.1 briefly posing his hands like Ryugi, but then reveals that it was just an act, so Ryugi uses his finisher on him to rescue his victim, before summoning the TyrannoHammer50 to destroy him, becoming the winner of the Manners Number One Battle. Powers and Abilities

Powers

  • Possession: Like all No.1 Monsters, Manners No.1 can possess a human, and materialize in the human world through their deepest desires.

Abilities

  • Manner Judgement: Befitting to his title, Manners No.1 can accurately score other people’s Mannerisms via their actions, and ultimately can deliver a Punishment via Manner Chain if their manners are defined as Bad. However, this ability is ultimately hypocritical in nature, as the standard of the said Manners are heavily biased on Manners No.1 preference.

Weaknesses

  • Ammunition Limit: Although useful, Manners No.1 Business Card Cutter had a set amount of Business Cards Ammo. Once depleted, it's presumed that Manner No.1 cannot use the said attack anymore.
  • Proper Mannerism: The only way to outpowering Manners No.1 is to demonstrate a better / more refined Good Manners than what the monster demonstrates, doing so will also release the Victim of the Manner Chain. The first point is proven by Hoeru, who inadvertently manages to create a 180° Bow that outperformed Manners No.1 90° Bow. The second point is proven by Ryugi, who after finding out (and subsequently demonstrates) the True Good Manners, allows him to stop any of Manners No.1 activity for a brief period of time.

Arsenal

  • Manner Chain (マナーチェーン Manā Chēn): Manners No.1 can summon a chain from his gauntlets that becomes heavier each time a victim does not show their proper manners. Furthermore, if the victim of this ability performed three consecutive bad manners, the Manner Chain can electrocute said victim as a form of punishment.
  • Business Card Cutter (名刺カッター Meishi Kattā): Manner's No.1 can fire his business cards like shuriken from the storage part on his chest.
