Maldan is a Nighlok who assisted Master Xandred and Octoroo in developing the Laser Blasters for the Master Blasters. He serves as the main antagonist of the episode "Trust Me (Super Samurai)".
History[]
Maldan was summoned by Master Xandred and Octoroo. He task was to assist Master Xandred and Octoroo in developing the Laser Blasters for the Master Blasters.
Once the test was complete, Maldan rendezvous with Serrator where he and the Moogers use the Laser Blasters on the Samurai Rangers. He managed to knock down Antonio. In the nick of time, Mentor Ji arrived with the new Bullzooka created by Cody's family as Jayden uses the Bullzooka to take out the Moogers. Maldan then uses his Laser Blaster to fight Jayden. Jayden uses the Bullzooka's Bullzooka Blast to defeat Maldan, who commented that this wasn't part of the plan.
The monster then grows as the other Rangers used the Bull Megazord and the LightZord fight him while Jayden tries to exterminate the remaining Moogers. Maldan is assisted by Giant Master Blasters to use the Super Master Blaster on the Megazords. After the Giant Moogers were defeated, the LightZord then disarms Maldan as the Bull Megazord uses its Revolving Laser Blaster to destroy him.

Maldan was a cunning, devious and deceptive Nighlok, who will not stop to destroy the Samurai Rangers and help Xandred and Octoroo in finding the new weapon. But he is also loyal to Xandred and Octoroo.

- Energy Blasts: He can fire energy at his opponents.
- Mega Monster Transformation: Maldan can grow into a Mega Monster whenever he is destroyed.

- Strength: Maldan is highly strong, able to take down all the Rangers together.
- Durability: He is also durable, enough to stand against the Rangers' attacks.
- Skilled Fighter: Maldan is a capable fighter, able to take down all the Rangers at once.
- Colossal Mooger Cannon Company Summoning: When he became a Mega Monster, Maldan can summon a Colossal Mooger Cannon Company to aid him in battle.
