Icon-gingamanThis article is about a Morpher in Power Rangers Lost Galaxy.

"Magna Power!"

When Magna Defender died, he left Mike his powers, which he could call on with the Magna Defender Morpher, a two-wrist Morpher. The Magna powers were lost when Mike sacrificed them to hold a rift in space open for Terra Venture to escape the Lost Galaxy. Alternative to the Magna Defender Morpher, the Super Mega Rangers used a Legendary Ranger Key provided by Gosei to assume the corresponding Ranger form as a Legendary Ranger Mode.

Power Rangers Lost Galaxy - Magna Defender Morph

Mike would pull an extending ring piece from the right component and insert it into the left to trigger the morph, calling out "Magna Power!" before inserting the key into the left piece (in his first transformation, Mike would throw the Magna Sword in the sky, calling out "Magna Power!" while he makes the throw, and grab it after inserting the ring piece into the right component)

The Magna Defender Morpher was damaged beyond repair when Mike sacrificed his powers to rescue Terra Venture. However, since Mike's powers were restored in Legendary Battle, it can be assumed that his Morpher was restored as well.

Notes[]

  • This is the only Morpher with a Super Sentai counterpart to not be used in the Super Sentai series that corresponds with the Power Rangers season the Morpher appeared in. The Magna Defender Morpher was originally the Aura Changer featured in Gosei Sentai Dairanger, which corresponded with season 2 of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, not Power Rangers Lost Galaxy. The only difference between the two was the decals from the Aura Changer were removed to make the Magna Defender Morpher, leaving it otherwise unchanged. Mike's counterpart in Gingaman simply used his sword to transform.
