Machine Fortress Terminel

Machine Fortress Terminel

The Machine Fortress Terminel (機械要塞ターミネル Kikai Yōsai Tāmineru) is the base of the Machine Onslaught Empire Matrintis, and later Brajira of the Messiah under the name Salvation Fortress Labyrindel (救星要塞ラビリンデル Kyūsei Yōsai Rabirinderu).

Overview[]

The Terminel is a domed sub-biosphere laboratory equipped with a large monitor screen and a control panel facilitating data usage, transfer, and storage. It features a sizable circular robot platform at its center, surrounded by a table with various technological and robotic equipment. Additionally, there's a storage room stocked with metal, wire, and circuit parts. The Terminel used to be located in the middle of the city also called Matrintis, but because of the shifting of tectonic plates, it is now located at a depth of 10,000 feet on the ocean floor of the Atlantic Ocean. From the underwater base, the machines plot to overthrow the human race, being led by an extremely bitter scientist who uploaded his subconscious into a robotic body, who became Robogog of the 10-sai.

After Robogog is defeated by the Goseigers then slain by Buredo-RAN of the Cyborg as well as Metal Alice of the Agent, Buredoran takes over the base, renaming it as he did, and uses the base to complete his plan on destroying the planet. Brajira destroys the base in an attempt to destroy Gosei Knight.

Etymology[]

  • Keeping with the robotics-theming of the Matrintis, the Terminel is named after the Terminator (ターミネーター Tāminētā) franchise.
  • Brajira rechristening the Terminal into the Labyrindel is derived from a movie, in this case the 2006 fantasy horror film Pan's Labyrinth, specifically the film's original Spanish name of "El laberinto del fauno".

Note[]

  • The name of the Terminel was only mentioned on-screen by Buredo-RAN, in the same sentence where he renames the fortress.
