Following his first fight with Lizwizard, Carlos suffered a crisis of confidence, but after some intense training from Adam Park - including Adam risking his own life to become the Mighty Morphin Black Ranger again with a damaged Morpher - Carlos regained his confidence and evaded the trap that had caused him to injure Cassie in the first fight.
