Synopsis[]
Justin wants to try out for the Angel Grove High sports team, but is told by the coach that he is too small and young to compete. When an ant, mutated by Bulk & Skull's strange exterminator spray, bites him, Justin gains super-strength, making him a big hit in athletics. But, the only side-effect is that Justin is unable to morph, so he must make a choice between his Power Ranger duties or his popularity with the other athletes when Divatox attacks Earth in the first of her three Evil Zords, the Divazord. In the end, he chose the former.

Errors[]
- Just before Justin lifts the Piranhatron in the air, one of the cables used to hoist him up is briefly visible.
Notes[]
- This episode aired the same day as Beetleborgs Metallix episode 24, To Foretell the Truth.
- The original draft title for this episode was "Strength in Numbers".
- The very beginning of this episode marks the second time a real gun is used in the show. Another one won't be used until Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue's "Go Volcanic".
- The plot device of the bite of an insect conferring powers is taken from Marvel Comics' famous Spider-Man character.
- This episode marks the final time the Turbo Holding Bay is shown onscreen.
- Alpha 6 claims that ants are "a hundred times stronger than they should be for their size". This is actually true of the Atlas beetle, Chalcosoma atlas. According to The Big Book of Beetles (edited by Patrice Bouchard, 2014), Atlas beetles have been scientifically proven to be able to lift 850 times their own body mass--equivalent to an 80 kg human lifting a 68-tonne excavator.
- There's not a monster of the day in this episode as Divatox face directly the Rangers with her new Zord: the Divazord.
- This is the second time that a Ranger cannot be given powers due to their biology changing.
- In Zeo, Billy could not become the Gold Ranger as he has absorbed too much negative energy from the destruction of the Command Center in Mighty Morphin Alien Rangers' "Hogday Afternoon".
- However, in Justin's case, he was offered and took an antidote for his condition.
