The two girls are in Red and White, while the three guys are in Blue, Green and Black.
An additional note, in 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain, the middle Douglas brother/ninja "Jeffery 'Colt' Douglas" was played by Michael J. O'Laskey II, the same young actor who played Rocky DeSantos as a child.

Animaniacs[]
The popular kids cartoon show Animaniacs did a spoof of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in an episode called "Super Strong Warner Siblings". The plot involves the three Warner siblings, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, defending the Warner Bros. studio lot from a giant bug created by a Rita Repulsa lookalike. They defeat the monster, but end up destroying the Studio lot in the process. The episode ends with a health warning to children about "playing with giant bugs."
Blue Blowfish | Yakko Warner |
Red Anteater | Wakko Warner |
Yellow Platypus | Dot Warner |
In addition, Dr. Scratchansniff parodies Zordon, Rita Repulsa parodies herself, a humanoid pig parodies Goldar, a Scottish coyote parodies both Squatt and Baboo, and a green alien parodies Finster. Rita's warriors — stick figures wearing white jumpsuits and giant glasses — parody the Putty Patrollers. The Warner Bros. water tower parodies the Megazord.
Other parody elements include the Warner Siblings constantly shouting "Right!" at random moments, Rita protesting that "This never works!" after her monster is defeated, and an irate Mr. Plotz complaining about how much it's going to cost him to repair the damage to his studio. The episode also utilizes theme music similar to that used in MMPR. The Annoying Orange[]
The popular Youtube channel, The Annoying Orange, made a spoof of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers in four videos featuring the Sour Rangers, a team of sour gummy kids based on the candy Sour Patch Kids. In their first appearance, they fought Marshmallow's evil cousin, Marshageddon, who was armed with a raygun and wore a headpiece based on that of Rita Repulsa.
In their second appearance, they fought Lord Bread, a spoof of Lord Zedd, who was armed with a pretzel staff that fired energy beams. Their third appearance saw them battle evil forces at Comic-Corn (a parody of Comic-Con). Their fourth and most recent appearance saw them in a parody of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie, where they battle Chivan Stews (a parody of Ivan Ooze), with the help of new powers granted by Dorcea (parody of Dulcea; voiced by Ciara Hanna, who portrayed Gia Moran in Power Rangers Megaforce). Some main characters in the series took the roles of supporting characters from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers; Orange became a parody of Zordon and was called Oron, Midget Apple spoofed Alpha 5 and became Midget Apple 5, and Grapefruit took the role of Ernie, whose juice bar was destroyed by Megagourd in battle.
In a similar case, in an episode of Ask Orange, a video series where Orange responds to fan-submitted questions and comments, Orange, Marshmallow, Midget Apple, Grapefruit, and Pear morph into Rangers, referencing Mighty Morphin, Time Force, Dino Thunder, Megaforce, and Beast Morphers, respectively, with their morph sequences. Orange's Zord is Orange Orangutan, Marshmallow's Zord is Marshmallow Mastadon, Midget Apple's Zord is Apple Alligator, Grapefruit's Zord is Grapefruit Great-White, and Pear's Zord is Pear Pear.
Additionally, in a HOW2 episode, Lord Bread made a cameo.

Cho Ninjatai Inazuma! (超忍者隊イナズマ! Chō Ninja Tai Inazuma!, Super Ninja Force Lightning!) is a 2006 tokusatsu moive made by Toei. It is about a producer in the year 2076 creating the 100th entry in the Hyper Hero Team Series by going back in time and getting three people from the Edo era of Japan to star in the show. It was followed a year later by Cho Ninjatai Inazuma!! SPARK. It features many actors from Super Sentai, including Atsushi Hashimoto, Hiroya Matsumoto, Asami Kai, Mika Kikuchi, and Yuki Ito.
The Hyper Hero Team Series is an obvious parody of Super Sentai. Additionally, assuming Sentai's schedule remains constant, 2076 will be the year Super Sentai will celebrate its 100th season. Predating Hikonin Sentai Akibaranger, Cho Ninjatai Inazuma! is Toei's first attempt at a parody of their Super Sentai series.

CollegeHumor[]
The video "Zordon is a Racist" spoofs the untinentionally politically incorrect connotations of Zack Taylor being African-American and the Black Ranger as well as Trini Kwan being Asian and the Yellow Ranger by depicting Zordon as a complete bigot who is blatantly appointing Ranger colors to his recruits based on what minority they belong to. After kicking out a second black recruit and a Jewish recruit, the remaining recruits call out Zordon on his bigotry and walk away in disgust.
Crystal Story[]
An indie RPG commercially released on February 6th, 2015. The primary antagonist of the game is a witch just named "Witch Rita", who bares a resemblance to Rita Repulsa, more so in her clothing than physical appearance. Moreover, the games true antagonist is her superior, a villain simply named "Z". Z's costume is heavily based off of Lord Zedd's design. Additionally, Z's name could be a reference to the fact that "Zedd" is an alternate pronunciation to the letter "Z".

The team consists of 3 female scientists and engineers and a nonbinary Red engineer. Its signature Cataclysm Attack is The Ultimate Dragon Storm, a charged up energy blade that releases waves of energy to damage enemies and starts with Meteor in a standard Sentai Pose with exploding colored smoke behind it.
Meteor Temujin also has unlockable pallet alterations named “Morphin” and “Dragon”, which gives the robot the colors of the Mighty Morphin Megazord or DragonZord respectively.

DC Comics[]
Dark Nights: Metal[]
The first issue of DC Comics event comic Dark Nights: Metal features a scene in which multiple members of the Justice League pilot their own self-themed giant robots, before combining into a larger humanoid robot, almost certainly an homage to the Zords/Mecha of Power Rangers/Super Sentai.
Pinky and the Brain[]

Dexter's Laboratory[]
In Dexter's Laboratory, the Super Sentai and the Power Rangers shows are parodied in different episodes. In "Big Sister" and "Last But Not Beast", both episodes have giant monster battles that parody the ones in Super Sentai and Power Rangers. Also in "Big Sister", there is a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers poster in Dexter's bedroom. Also in "Last But Not Beast", Dexter has a poster of a Super Sentai/Power Rangers like team in his bedroom. He has two robots, Robo-Dexo 2000 and Multi-Forming Megabot (which has a finisher, as well as 4 pieces to form the robot: a helicopter, jet, van, and boat). Both are parodies of Super Sentai Robos and Power Rangers Megazords. Also, in "Last But Not Beast" the song "Dexter's Family Go" also parodies Go Go Power Rangers. In the episode "Sister Mom", just before Dexter activates the machine he uses to turn DeeDee into their mother, he says "It's Morphin Time!".
Digimon[]
Original Universe[]
In the English dub of the 39th episode of the second season of Digimon, known as Digimon Adventure 02, a news reporter mentions a Power Rangers Arbor Day Special. Later, in the Japanese dub of that same season, in episode 42, one character refers to herself and her group as a "Digimon Sentai" and "DigiRangers".
Digimon: The Movie[]
In the English dub, Kari says she got her friend a Pink Ranger Action Figure for her birthday.
Digimon Fusion[]
In episode 68 of Digimon Fusion (Digimon Xros Wars in Japan), a poster can be seen depicting what appears to be the titular protagonists of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger (also known as Power Rangers Super Megaforce in the US).
Digimon Ghost Game[]
In episode 59, Kiyoshiro does a favor for a friend and she says that their company is sponsoring a stage show for the local heroes Kuraishi Sentai Jiraiyas and offers him to come and see it, which he happily accepts. She shows a poster of a ninja themed Ranger team consisting of Red, Blue, Yellow, Green and Black. When attending the show, a Digimon attacks hoping to find the real Jiraiya of Japanese legend among the five stage actors.
Dinosaur King[]
In the episode, A Game Show Showdown, there is a show set called Dino Troopers. It was a play on either Power Rangers or Super Sentai. A lone ninja-themed hero is later seen facing the same villain as the Dino Troopers during a live stage show in Ninja Nightmare!. Dinosaurs and ninjas are two of the most commonly recurring team motifs in both Sentai and Rangers, and stage shows that reuse any suits available are also a common staple of the genre.
Disgaea[]
The Disgaea game series features a group of seven Rangers known as the Prism Rangers. Their name and attacks are directly in reference to Choshinsei Flashman.
Doctor Slump[]
In episode 13, when Jeong-woo helps Ha-neul at the hospital and Hong-ran with Dae-yeong come to visit her, he mentions Power Rangers, comparing all four always gathering together to them.
Doctor Who[]
A toy Mythical Qi Warrior Won Tiger/White Tigerzord can be seen on a shelf in Mickey's apartment during Series 1 episode 5, World War Three. Doraemon[]
In one chapter of the long running manga series, Nobita and Doraemon watch TV and an image of a Sentai show called "UFO Rangers" appears on the screen before they decide to go outside and play. The UFO Rangers bear an uncanny resemblance to J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai, which coincidentally was still on the air at the time this particular story came out on August 10th, 1976.
In the opening panel of one manga chapter, Doraemon witnesses a film crew shooting what seems to be a Gorenger movie.
Coincidentally, it aired on the same network as Super Sentai and two of the characters (Suneo and Gian) were voiced by the same VAs as the devices of Gokaiger and Kyuranger.
Another sentai team is called Sokuryo Sentai Kirameasure (測量戦隊キラメジャー Sokuryō Sentai Kiramejā) which is similar to the name Kiramagers.
Downtown no Gottsu Ee Kanji[]
In this show, there was a recurring sketch named Seikimatsu Sentai Gorenjai. Translating to English as End of Century Heroes Five Range-i, it is a parody of Himitsu Sentai Gorenger—the last syllable in renjaa ("ranger") is replaced to avoid copyright issues. Each episode begins with the evil Dokuro Kamen ("Skull Mask", played by Hamada) often stopping for a friendly chat with the lady's friend before attacking the lady (played by You) in her home. The sentai heroes, the five renjai, then burst into the scene one at a time to save her and attempt to fight Dokuro Kamen, who is too distracted and unable to fight due to their appearances.
In the first episode, they have three red renjai and two yellow (breaking the usual sentai convention of having each hero in a different color). Dokuro Kamen lectures them and tells them to try better next time. Each subsequent episode has Dokuro Kamen attacking the same woman in the same room (often stopping for a friendly chat with the lady's friend before he attacks her), and the renjai appearing in mismatched costumes—such as Tiger Mask, Falkor, and a waitress from a No-pan Shabu shabu—or ridiculously modified versions of their uniforms. The episodes end with Dokuro Kamen scolding the renjai, pointing out exactly what is wrong, and sending them off home.
Dragon Ball[]
Dragon Ball Z[]
The Ginyu Force (Ginyu Tokusentai/Special Squad) that serve as the henchman for their villain Frieza in the anime and manga series Dragon Ball Z often do Super Sentai based poses when they introduce themselves. They also have have different colors based on their skin. Notably when Captain Ginyu later faced Goku, not only did Goku imitate the pose, he also made a note that doing the pose was a big waste of time that angered Ginyu as a result. Turns out in the fighting game Dragon Ball FighterZ that Ginyu Force’s posing is the main reason why Gohan become the superhero Great Saiyaman. In the video game Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which uncover the untold stories that are not in either manga nor anime, the Ginyu Force use to have had a sixth ranger, who is a female.

They make their debut in the film Dragon Ball Z: Cooler's Revenge as the secondary antagonists.

Dragon Ball Super[]
Dragon Ball Super, the official sequel to Dragon Ball Z, introduced not one, but two groups in the Universal Survival Arc. The first group is the Pride Troopers of Universe 11, who act like parodies of Super Sentai heroes. While they do not have special colored costumes, they are quite fond of posing and fighting for justice. Their leader, Toppo, is heavily into this, chewing out Android 17 for attacking opponents while transforming.

Lastly, Wei Yan got a monster-like costume.

In the episode "Fists of Furry", Sharky the Sharkdog is seen watching a parody of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, called Mighty Boring Shower Strangers. The aptly named Shower Strangers are a bunch of people wearing helmets and towels meeting, but not recognizing each other in a shower, after which they are attacked by soap themed monsters.
Also parodied in this episode is the controversy that Power Rangers would promote the use of violence in children, as Sharky is seen hurting himself after imitating the moves he saw in the show.

In what is perhaps the most noted reference to Power Rangers, the swordsman Gilgamesh says during his second solo battle with the player party, "Enough expository banter! Now we fight like men! And ladies! And ladies who dress like men! For Gilgamesh, it is morphing time!", then transforms into his fully-powered, four-armed form. This quote has endured beyond the game in the form of abilities used by Gilgamesh throughout the greater series.
XIV[]
The 2023 iteration of the annual in-game Moonfire Faire event rewarded players with the Phoenix Riser armor. Promotional images for the event featured the armor on a team of 5 in the iconic Gorenger color scheme, but the actual in-game item could be dyed any color of the player's choice. Additionally, during the event an in-game location was available where occasional colored explosions would occur, clearly inspired by the explosions typical of Sentai roll calls; players were encouraged to take pictures of their characters posing in front of the stage whilst wearing the Phoenix Riser costume.
XV[]
One of the plans for the DLC expansions of the game Final Fantasy XV was the Magitek Exosuit, multi-colored Sentai-like armors that would enhance the four different characters of the game. This suit gives the player invincibility for 30 minutes and improves fishing, but can only be used once every 24 hours.
However, their original design was too similar to the costumes of the 2017 Mighty Morphin Power Rangers movie and Saban threatened to sue Square Enix if they did not change it. This resulted in the Magitek Exosuit DLC being delayed until the suits could be re-designed. Fans reacted negatively to Saban's copyright claim as it ruined a pre-determined DLC release that players were waiting for.[3].

France Five[]
Shin Kenjushi France Five (translated as New Sword Musketeers France Five), is a French affectionate parody of the Sentai genre. Its heroes have names which are major clichés about French life, especially food. It became extremely popular in Japan and Akira Kushida even sang a new theme song for it that was used in the show's last three episode.
Because producers where unsure how far the project could go, first episode was written as a typical mid-season episode (actually, first sixth ranger appearance) rather than a real introduction. However, after a 8-years hiatus, it ended with a real final. Color pattern, including sixth ranger, is exactly the same as Denji Sentai Megaranger/Power Rangers in Space.

In addition to being an official assassin organization, the Handsome Men are also featured as characters in a comic book created by Trevor Pearlharbor and published by ZTT Comics. When the real-world group appears and begins to carry out the stories he writes in reality, Pearlharbor believes himself to be controlling them; in actuality, he is only a seer, and his comics are simply predictions of what they will do. The Killer 7 tracks Pearlharbor to his studio in the Dominican Republic, where he is in the midst of drawing a scene of himself killing Dan Smith, and thus believes he cannot die. However, Handsome Black suddenly appears and fires his Handsome Wink at Dan, who successfully dodges; the attack hits Pearlharbor, killing him.
Dan kills Handsome Black in retaliation; Handsome Red appears on the scene and, surveying it, concludes that Dan killed both Pearlharbor and Black unprovoked. He calls for a revenge match to determine which of the groups is stronger, naming Broadway, New York as the site of the challenge. A series of one-on-one matches ensues.
The King of Fighters[]
Only in The King of Fighters '97 and '98, Ralf Jones and Clark Still have a special intro in which they both do the Cross Changer pose. This is likely a nod to Chojin Sentai Jetman in which they use this pose to transform.
