Fouth Lesson - Zowa-Zowa! The Five Venom Fists (修行その４ ゾワゾワ！五毒拳, Shugyō Sono Yon: Zowa-Zowa! Godokuken) is the fourth episode of Juken Sentai Gekiranger. It is the first episode of the Gekirangers' battle against Rinjuken's Five Venom Fists, as well as their first encounter with the leader of their opponent forces, Rio.
Synopsis
Rio sends the Five Venom Fists to face the Gekiranger, while going forth himself to have a destined encounter.
Plot
Rio vs Jan
Jan and company are brought to a skating rink where they must acquire a difficult lesson, meeting professional skater Junko Yaginuma to master the Kaleido Spiral Jump. However, the Five Venom-Ken begin their fight against the Gekirangers, overpowering them until Xia Fu saved them. However, it was a ploy set up by Rio to deal with Xia Fu himself with his Rin Jū Lion-Ken style, revealing the link between them as not only master and apprentice but rivals based on his dream visions. However, Rio soon learns that his destined rival is not Xia Fu, but Jan. To confirm this, he had Jan poisoned, forcing him and the others to fight all Five Venom-Ken members at once in Geki Tohja for the antidote. But the Gekirangers managed to master the Kaleido Spiral Jump in time to get the cure, with Rio calling off the attack for now.
