The Lavadactyls were robotic pterodactyl mechs that were one of Moltor's creations and also the Zords of the Lava Lizards.
History[]
A trio of mechanical Pterodactyl-like creatures, each piloted by a Lava Lizard and capable of shooting lasers from their mouths. Their purpose was to ambush the Rangers and Tyzonn during their quest for the Toru Diamond and the fight against Bullox. They all were destroyed by Mack in the newly dispatched Sonic Streaker.

Moltor created a Cybernetic Rex who launched two swarms of these. The first swarm was destroyed by the DriveMax Ultrazord, the second swarm by the BattleFleet ship. TV STORY-Ronny on Empty

- Mouth Lightning Lasers: The Lavadactyls can fire light red colored energy lasers with lightning of the same color from their beaks.

- The Lavadactyls resemble Dragozord from Power Rangers Dino Thunder, the reason for this is because the Lavadactyl's Boukenger counterpart, Great Evil Dragon Zorad, as with each primary antagonist and each individual monster of the week was visually designed as an homage to the various robots and other Mecha piloted by the protagonists of the 29 previous Super Sentai Series (except for J.A.K.Q. Dengekitai), as Boukenger was the 30th anniversary series. Great Evil Dragon Zorad's look was based on the Dragozord's counterpart, the Bakuryu TopGaler of Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger.
