Icon-shinkengerThis article is about a mecha/weapon in Samurai Sentai Shinkenger.

The Kyoryu Origami (恐竜折神 Kyōryū Origami, Dinosaur Folding God) is an ancient Origami first used by the very first Shinken Red. It is a crimson and black Tyrannosaurus Origami.

Kyoryu Origami is summoned through the use of the Kyoryumaru, which it resembles perfectly but on a much larger scale.

Overview[]

It can attack autonomously once summoned, stretching its sharp neck and head to bite and slash foes. This goes the same for Samurai Gattais.

Appearances: The Fateful War, Shinkenger Episode 31, 43

When ShinkenOh combines with the Kyoryu Origami, ShinkenOh becomes Kyoryu ShinkenOh (キョウリュウシンケンオー Kyōryū Shinken'ō), using the Kyoryuto (恐竜刀 Kyōryūtō, Dinosaur Sword) as a weapon, resembling a giant Kyoryumaru.

Kyoryu ShinkenOh's final attack is the Heaven and Earth Flash (天地一閃 Tenchi Issen) a vertical bifurcation slash attack.

Shinzen Samurai Gattai Kyoryu Samurai HaOh (真全侍合体恐竜侍覇王 Shinzen Samurai Gattai Kyōryū Samurai Haō, True All Combination Dinosaur Samurai Lord) is the final combination of all twelve Origami.

In episode 43, the Samurai HaOh requires additional power to defeat Akumaro once and for all. Takeru activates the Kyoryu Disc, combining the HaOh with the Kyoryu Origami to form the Kyoryu Samurai HaOh.

In this form, it can use the the Twelve Origami Great Samurai Slash (十二折神大侍斬り Jūni Origami Dai Samurai Giri) finishing attack, where it infuses the Kyoryu Origami with all the Mojikara from the other Origamis powering it up then do a powerful downward slash attack.

This form is exclusive to Shinkenger Episode 43.

Notes[]

  • Kyoryu Origami used to be considered as a sauropod, but Super Hero Taisen Z confirmed that it is a Tyrannosaurus.
  • While most movie exclusive mechas were simply redesigned versions of the Sentai team's mechas, Kyoryu Origami instead is based on the Shinkenmaru, the Shinkengers' katana.
