The Kumonoslayer (クモノスレイヤー Kumonosureiyā) is the main transformation device and sidearm of Spider Kumonos.
Overview
The Kumonoslayer is a short sword/dagger weapon, meant to be held in a reverse grip. It works in conjunction with the Kumonos Keys, allowing the user to transform into Spider Kumonos or activate attacks.
History
The Kumonoslayer was originally the weapon of the sixth warrior of legend, the father of Jeramie Brasieri. He and his wife Nephila transformed it into a mask and placed it on Jeramie to conceal his powers. After 2000 years, Jeramie had concocted a plan to release his powers by the use of the souls of the Three Greater Deities: God Kabuto, God Scorpion, and God Hopper. After gaining their souls, he used them to create the Kumonos Keys, allowing him to unlock the mask, and release himself from it. The mask then transformed into the Kumonoslayer.
Functionality
To transform, a user inserts the Kumonos Change key, then turns it. They are encased in an amber chrysalis as the suit forms, then God Tarantula shoots out an image of itself, breaking it and completing the transformation. The user can use the Change Key to activate the Dancing King slash attack, or use the other keys for attacks as well.

To perform a finishing attack, Spider Kumonos turns either the Change or Shugod Kumonos Keys to initiate a standby sequence before pressing the button on the hilt to initiate the attack.

- Each finisher features an additional voice line at the end of its finishing sounds. However, save for an evil laugh, what is being said cannot be discerned, and these parts are not included in advertisements or the instruction manual for the DX toy.
