Kouhei Higuchi

This article is about an actor in Avataro Sentai Donbrothers.

Kouhei Higuchi (樋口幸平 Higuchi Kōhei) is a Japanese actor who portrays Taro Momoi/Don Momotaro, DonKiller, and "Taro Momoi" in Avataro Sentai Donbrothers. He is affiliated with Horipro.

Biography[]

Higuchi grew up playing soccer and wanted to be a professional player. In 2019, he was scouted by Horipro and debuted as an actor.

Personal life[]

Higuchi watched Tokuso Sentai Dekaranger and Mahou Sentai Magiranger, as well as Kamen Rider Hibiki and Kamen Rider Kabuto as a child.^[1]

In preparation of Tokonatsu Atami's role as the next Don Momotaro in No.1 Sentai Gozyuger, the production team contacted Kouhei to deliver the news. Not only was Higuchi approving of the idea, he also jokingly expressed his concern if Don Momotaro (or at least, someone with similar behavior to Taro) was the appropriate candidate to run as the prime minister of Japan.^[2]
