Konakijiji (コナキジジイ, Konaki Jijī, 10 & 34) is a baby-size elderly Yokai.

History[]

Posing as an gentleman (紳士, shinsei) owner of the Neverland store that served as his base of operations, Konakijiji assumes an infant form to strangle any adult who gets close enough to steal their souls to bring his dolls to life so he can have a family. In order to intercept Konakijiji, Sasuke was drafted to disguise himself as a baby to lure the Yokai. However, Konaki-Jiji is not fooled and has Sasuke captured to show him the fruit of his work. However, as others arrive, Sasuke escapes the deathtrap Konakijiji prepared for him and defeats the Youkai with the Kakuranger Ball. Enlarging, Konakijiji is quickly destroyed by Muteki Shogun with the souls returned to their rightful bodies. TV STORY-Ep. 10: The Old Man's Baby-Cry

Before his death, Konakijiji was one of four potential Yokai husbands who Sunakake Babaa dreamed of marrying before turning to Daimaou himself after they were all killed by the Kakurangers. TV STORY-Ep. 34: The Bride's Sandy Hell!!

Though unseen, Konakijiji's spirit presumably emerged within the Seal Door along with all the other defeated Yokai, after their master Daimaou was finally contained there by the Kakurangers. Reeling that they were now powerless in captivity, the Yokai all vowed that they would one day be reborn and regain their power, cursing humanity. TV STORY-Final Ep.: Sealing!!

Human Disguise: Like all Yokai in the show, Konakijiji can disguise himself as a human.
Soul Extraction and transferring: Konakijiji could take a humans soul by strangling them and then transfer the stolen souls to anything he chooses such as inanimate objects like dolls.

Weight Increasing: Konakijiji could increase his body weight.
Arm Stretching: Konakijiji could stretch his arms to great lengths.
Size Altering: Konakijiji can alter the size of his body at will.
Rocky Abyss Ninpou: Konakijiji makes his body really heavy to crush his enemies.

Design[]

His design is based on a Konaki-jiji, a Yokai where some versions depict it as the spirit of a baby that was left to die in the wilderness. His design is also based off a baby doll.
