Kirk Thornton (born May 13, 1956) is a voice actor with several roles in Power Rangers. He also worked as a writer on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers
Outside of Power Rangers, Kirk Thornton is well known for his roles as Kisame in the Naruto series, Isa/Saix in the Kingdom Hearts series, Gabumon and Mummymon in the Digimon series, and Don Patch in Bo-Bo-Bo Bo-Bo-Bo. He is also the current voice of Shadow the Hedgehog in the Sonic the Hedgehog games.
Thornton also did voice work in several Marvel Comics productions including Adam Warlock (in the animated series Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes), Mephisto (in the 2007 Ghost Rider video game) and Electro (in the video game Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2)
As with all Saban era actors, he left the franchise after its purchase by Disney as they decided to hire an entirely new voice cast.
