Kinjiro Takehara (猛原 禽次郎 Takehara Kinjirō), born Joji Takehara (猛原 譲二 Takehara Jōji), is an 87 year-old man who was given the ability to rejuvenate into a high-school party boy by Tega Sword. He transforms into GozyuEagle (ゴジュウイーグル Gojū Īguru), the Green Ranger of the Gozyugers.

Joji was an old man who lives a very strict life, being strict to himself and others, so he dislikes those who live selfishly. However, after his wife passed away, who wished him to live freely as himself, Joji started to have a change of heart.
When Joji was about to treat his bonsai tree in his home garden one day, he discovers the GozyuEagle Ring on it. Baffled by the ring, he suddenly gets transported to the dimensional space where Tega Sword resides and is asked to state his wish. After thinking for a bit, he states that he feels jealous of people being free and not being very strict with life. Thus, he wished to redo his youth and become a "party person." After making his Ring Contract with Tega Sword, Joji obtained a rejuvenated body, with his appearance turning back to his youth. Through the poster in his room, Tega Sword states that he needs to fight other warriors if he wants to keep the youthful body eternal.

Kinjiro is first seen looking at his GozyuEagle Ring that was resonating with GozyuWolf's soulful howl. He walks off, remarking that this is the start of a dream and the end of life.

Kinjiro shows up after the winner of the No.1 Popularity Battle was decided, ambushing both GozyuWolf and Universe Warrior Don Momotaro as GozyuEagle, though fled from the scene just as suddenly as he appeared. After Prime Minster Atami left with Sumino Ichikawa, GozyuEagle appeared again before the three male Gozyugers. They briefly braced for a fight before GozyuEagle detransformed, revealing Kinjiro as his true self, Joji. TV STORY-Ep. 3: The Boss of Japan! I'm the Prime Minister!
Joji falls due to the earlier fight has exhausted the nutrients in his body, he is then invited by others to the Tega Sword Village to enjoy an omlette rice, which reverts Joji's appearance to 17-year-old. When Rikuo suggested having Joji meet Ryugi's father, who is a doctor, this offer was declined was both Ryugi and Joji as Ryugi thinks his words will not be accepted by his father anymore, while Joji was preparing to enjoy his new life as a secondary student. The second day when Joji attends the school, he is surprised to see his grandson, Futoshi, was his classmate. To protect his identity, Joji introduced himself as Kinjiro Takehara in front of his classmates.
Personality[]
As an elderly man, Joji is a strict person, and he thinks that people who live without a dream to achieve or break the rules is a shame, as he thinks people should not waste their time on unnecessary things. Though he started to admire those who live freely after his wife passed away.
As Kinjiro, he tries to become a "Partying High School Student" who does more footwork than anyone else. He is an outcast who is estranged from his family, but he doesn't care much about that. Although he is actually very serious, he wants to change himself and spends his days working to become a party person.

Using the GozyuEagle Sentai Ring, Kinjiro transforms into a green eagle warrior. His fighting style allows him to fly freely in the sky. He is also good at sniping from the air using the Eagle Shooter 50.

- No.1 Eyesight (ナンバーワン視力 Nanbā Wan Shiryoku): Through the Sentai Ring, GozyuEagle gained the "number one eyesight", which allows him to see things clearly from afar.
- Rejuvenation: By consuming a sufficient amount of egg-based dishes (such as an Omelette), Kinjiro can turn himself into a 17-year-old teenage boy. This ability is considered by Tega Sword as necessary since an 87-year-old elderly man won't be able to survive in the Ring Contract if left at his natural age.
Attacks[]
- Finish Finger Eagle (フィニッシュフィンガーイーグル Finisshu Fingā Īguru): GozyuEagle holds down the side button on Tega Sword. He delivers two green energy slashes to the opponent before stabbing them in the chest, splitting the Tega Sword’s blade to create an opening, allowing the victim to escape before he kicks the opponent away upon explosion.
Weaknesses[]
- Metabolism: Kinjiro's rejuvenation can only be maintained through the nutrients provided by egg-based dishes. Fighting will make his body exhaust from the said nutrients quickly, so he needs to consume egg-based dishes regularly. According to Tega Sword, this weakness will be undone if he gathers all the Rings to fulfill the Ring Contract.

Etymology[]
- The first kanji in Kinjiro's given name means "bird" (禽 Kin/Tori). This specific bird kanji is not seen often in modern Japanese speech. "Jiro" meanwhile means "next son”, which could be a cryptic hint detailing reincarnation.
- Kinjiro's surname Takehara translates into "raging plain".
- His full name refers to "birds of prey" (猛禽 Mōkin), which is a class of birds that eagles are found in.
