This article is about a villainous mecha in No.1 Sentai Gozyuger.

King Candelor (キングキャンデラー Kingu Kyanderā) is a candle-themed Dress Guard of the No One World Bridan, piloted by Fire Candle.

Overview

An exclusive-type Dress Guard for Fire Candle that uses pyrokinetic-based combat through flamethrowing and wields the Candeluxe Sword for flaming sword techniques.

History

In Ring Case Castle at No One World, the Buraidan executive Fire Candle walks to the Dress Guard hangar, knocking on a Combatant Ai's helmet on his way, and boards his personal Robot, King Candelor. He's contacted by another Buraidan member, Bouquet, who asks from him to gather the Sentai Rings before TegaSword awakens, but asks from him to avoid making commotion. Fire Candle just laughs before travelling to the human world.

King Candelor appears out of a portal that spawns in a Ferris wheel. Fire Candle seems to recognize this world and begins to attack using King Candelor, while Combatant Ai are spawned from various portals. Fire Candle says to the people that he came to make sure that the human world turns alright, but struggles to find the right word to describe himself. He then remembers and calls himself the Number One Savior. Witnessing the chaos, Natsume realizes that now its his time and picks up the King-Ohger Sentai Ring out of his guitar case. To Hoeru's surprise, he inserts it into a silver-colored TegaSword and transforms into Kuwagata Ohger. Natsume then begins fighting the Combatant Ai and destroys them with a finisher. Fire Candle is angry at him for destroying the Combatant Ai and begins using King Candelor to attack him. Hoeru recklessly rushes to the mecha and is attack, but is suddenly transported into a wormhole as he hears the mysterious voice calling "Number One" once again.

Hoeru later returns to Earth after signing a Ring Contract with the TegaSword, which grants him the power of GozyuWolf. With a loud howl, he pushes King Candelor back, forms TegaSword Robo Red in a black void, and with their roll call complete, the first No.1 Battle begins. The two mechas engage in a battle. TegaSword Red can swiftly strike at King Candelor, and when a specific strike from the Candeluxe Sword is blocked, it follows up with a Palm Crush, staggering King Candelor and disarming it of its sword. Undeterred, Fire Candle activates the mecha's flamethrowers, but TegaSword Red dodges them using the Sole Boosters and transforms into its Giant God TegaSword mode, knocking King Candelor into a building. Heavily damaged, King Candelor is then finished off by the TegaSword: Outlaw Breaker. TV STORY-Ep. 1: Savior No.1!

According to Fire Candle and Bouquet's interaction, King Candelor was currently under repair. TV STORY-Ep. 2: Catch the Treasure! It's My Prey

Fire Candle inquires again wondering when King Candelor can be deployed but Bouquet is too angered over her Rikuo photo being destroyed in the battle with TegaSword Blue to directly answer the question, instead a mix of anger and crying overtook the technical captain, scaring Fire Candle away. TV STORY-Ep. 4: Party Time ☆ Dreaming Old Man

King Candelor has finally been repaired and is summoned through a portal by Fire Candle to duel GozyuWolf in TegaSword Red. King Candelor initially faces the rapid attacks of TegaSword Red, but the Dress Guard gains the upper hand when Hoeru Tono loses focus. Fire Candle seizes this opportunity, guiding Candelor to dodge all of TegaSword's moves. King Candelor then prepares to activate its finishing move to destroy TegaSword Red, but Fire Candle hesitates, deeming it unworthy to defeat a daunted Hoeru without a proper fight. TV STORY-Ep. 8: Between Right and Wrong, the Ring Hunter

King Candelor emerges during the night, wreaking havoc in the city as Fire Candle relentlessly desire for GozyuWolf's fighting spirit. Now facing TegaSword DekaClaw, King Candelor unleashes a barrage of fireballs at his enemy. However, the ferocity and precision of DekaClaw's strikes soon overwhelm him. He is dragged along the ground and slammed into a building by his opponent. As King Candelor regain balance, it is bound by the Wolf Dehood before being destroyed for the second time by the TegaSword: Claw Banisher— a devastating blow that leaves a giant hole in the middle of the Dress Guard.
