Kevin's Father was the previous Blue Samurai Ranger before Kevin and the 17th Blue Samurai Ranger of his family line of the Blue Samurai Rangers.
History[]
Kevin's father and the other original Samurai Rangers were going to battle the Nighlok for the last time after Mr. Shiba gave Jayden the Lion FoldingZord and waited for their Red Ranger leader before fighting their enemies.
Kevin's father along with his fellow Samurai Rangers battled the Moogers. Furthermore, Master Xandred detected the Shiba House and he battled with the original Samurai Rangers, including Kevin's father, at the Shiba House right before Xandred was temporarily sealed back to the Netherworld by Mr. Shiba's incomplete Sealing spell.
Twelve years later, Kevin's father supported his son towards his dream of becoming an Olympic swimmer. However, he trained his son to become the new Blue Samurai Ranger and gave Kevin the Dragon FoldingZord.

- Kevin's father was the previous Blue Samurai Ranger; Samurai Rangers Powers are passed down on from parent to child.
- Kevin's father was seen passing the powers on to Kevin; Mr. Shiba was seen doing the same to Jayden cause chronologically, Mr. Shiba was the first.
- Kevin's father is the only known previous Ranger who survived the battle against Master Xandred; it is unknown if the parents of the other Rangers survived or not.
