Katsuya is an art-loving boy who ends up in the line of fire during a Saima attack, accidentally becoming critically injured by Daimon as he attacked an army of Imps with his weapons. Feeling apologetic for the shocking attack he did accidentally, Daimon buys the kid a new set of art supplies as an apology, which Katsuya accepts realizing that it was an accident and not intentional.
