Kaguragi Dybowski (カグラギ・ディボウスキ Kaguragi Dibōsuki) is the lord of Tofu who transforms into Hachi Ohger (ハチオージャー Hachi Ōjā), the Black Ranger of the King-Ohgers.
History[]
Kaguragi is the lord of Tofu. Originally, he and his sister Suzume were regular citizens of Tofu, working as regular and honest rice farmers. At one point, they meet Iroki, who are impressed by their harvest & product. She then propose to sell their products to people over Chikyuu, in return, Kaguragi will learn everything he need to know to rule Tofu as the new lord. When asked why, Iroki claimed that someone as honest as Kaguragi will never betray her.
However, During the Wrath of God 15 years ago, Iroki had hoarded all of Tofu food, leaving its citizens to starve. Suzume then led a coup to reclaim the rice supply, spear-headed by Kaguragi. However, Kaguragi decides to ask Iroki one last time.
Kaguragi ended up learning that the food stocks of Tofu are tainted by God Scorpion Poison, perpetrated by Glodi Leucodium. Iroki hoarded the poisoned food before the public knew about this and burned it down. Kaguragi tried to persuade Iroki to give some of the food to the Tofu citizens, but she denied surrendering the foods that are now unfit for consumption. To prove her point, Iroki ended up consuming the poisoned rice herself and ordered Kaguragi to execute her after accidentally set the castle, along with the poisoned rice stocks on fire. Since Kaguragi is reluctant to do so, Iroki ended up incinerating herself, calling Kaguragi as a 'Traitor' with her last breath.
As a mortified Kaguragi comes down from the burning Tofu castle, Suzume notices that Kaguragi hand are dirtied by Iroki's blood. Assuming that Kaguragi had eliminate Iroki, Suzume appointed Kaguragi as the new Tofu lord, much to the elation of the rebelling citizens. This incident, while shaking Kaguragi spirit, is also allowing Kaguragi to learn how to deceive for greater good, thus he turns into the master fraudster at present day, he would use his mastery of deceiving to aid the King-Ohgers and Gira in his way to claim his throne as the worthy king of Shugodom. 
TV STORY-Ep. 37: Iroki's Rebellion
Present[]
After Gira's awakening as Kuwagata Ohger, he attacks King-Ohger in God Kabuto without the team knowing and welcomes a stranded Gira to Tofu. The Bug Naraku arrive and Kaguragi deals with them alongside the other King-Ohgers, who find out mid battle that Kaguragi had attacked them with God Kabuto. Kaguragi, now caught, attacks Gira and the Sugods enter battle. Kaguragi states he is solely doing it to protect his kingdom but Gira argues that Rcules will just simply use him as a tool and that he won’t be able to protect anything under Rcules. Gira then states that Kaguragi will join his crew and they’ll beat Rcules together. Embraced by Gira, Kabutan awakens and King-Ohger is summoned. The monster is beaten and Kaguragi apologizes for the backstab, only for Kaguragi to give up Gira to Rita for due justice. TV STORY-Ep. 4: A Lordly Reception
Kaguragi and Rita appear to Rcules, the lord suggesting a duel between the Husty brothers. TV STORY-Ep. 7: Wrath of God During the battle of the Husty brothers, Kaguragi and the other rulers save Gira and keep Gira "dead". TV STORY-Ep. 8: King and Prince in Trial by Combat He is shortly taken down by Dezunaraku in Tofu, the monster threatening to destroy all of Chikyu with his cacoons TV STORY-Ep. 9: Gira on the Run but with a miracle and determination, he and the royals summon Legend King-Ohger, destroying the cacoons and coming together as the Ohsama Sentai. TV STORY-Ep. 10: The Fabled Guardian Deity.
Rcules demands to know where Gira's body is and has Kaguragi for interrogation. Kaguragi lies his way out of it even with Rcules holding a sword to his neck, claiming that King-Ohger working by itself was nothing short of a miracle. Rcules believes him and this leads to Kaguragi suggesting a funeral for Gira, so that Rcules may convince the people further that he performed Legend King-Ohger's appearance. In secret, this is a plan to "revive" Gira that the kings are discussing to remove Rcules from his throne. TV STORY-Ep. 11: Mysterious! The Man in the Spider Mask After Jeramie's debut, Kaguragi told Rcules all about Jeramie and Rcules simply demands that Jeramie be brought to him and warns Kaguragi should learn more from his sister about trustworthiness, less his sister's life be at peril. Later, he appeared in Ishabana, accusing Jeramie of being an agent as when he had appeared to destroy Dezunaraku, the emperor arose from the flames, not even looking slightly harmed. TV STORY-Ep. 12: The Sixth King
In Tofu, Kaguragi is with a physic that tells him of "something corrupt, falling into the underworld", the physic brings up Suzume catching the lord's attention. Rcules contacts Kaguragi and tells him that he'd like a meeting with Jeramie. Later, Jeramie and Kaguragi are having dinner together, where Jeramie claims that he isn't a fan of Rcules. Kaguragi tries to leave upset. with Kuroda trying to remind him of Suzume but his lord walks out anyway. Rcules meets with Jeramie and Kaguragi to speak of negotiations with Bug Naraku, with Jeramie agreeing on the condition that Suzume be released, Kaguragi is touched and begs Rcules to consider but is shocked to find out that Suzume is staying of her own will. Later, Shugodom is attacked by Bug Naraku and Kaguragi asks that he be the only one to fight the Bug Naraku before engaging them all with Gira arriving and battling as well. Baejim is defeated and Kaguragi thanks Jeramie for the arrangement and tells him not worry about Suzume. Gira interrupts and tells him to laugh, saying that he could tell his concern for his sister was genuine. Kaguragi simply states that worry still isn't needed. TV STORY-Ep. 15: A Visit to Suzume
Kaguragi later tries to learn of what Dezunaraku and Rcules discussed while sitting out on the invasion of N'Kosopa due to being involved in the peace treaty with Shugodom and the Bug Naraku. TV STORY-Ep. 16: The 10-Year-Old Chief Justice TV STORY-Ep. 17: The King Does Not Flee He then sets his plan in motion. He and his agents roam around Shugodom's castle, in hopes of finding the OhgerLance but he was caught and was almost captured but Suzume arrived and had her brother act as a beetle to be forgiven. As everyone laughed, Kaguragi notices a button on the throne. When everyone left, he took his chance and found the Lance. Shortly after, he appears in Rcules' cockpit, stealing the OhgerCrown and handing it to Gira, who transforms into King Kuwagata Ohger, giving the prince the power he needs to beat Rcules. TV STORY-Ep. 18: The Crown of Beginnings After helping form the new treaty to make the Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger, Hymeno and Kaguragi had the citizens of Shugodam be given treatment and helped beat the Bug Naraku out of Shugodom. TV STORY-Ep. 19: Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger After Gira is made King of Shugodom, he didn't hesitate to take advantage of Gira, beating him in a cooking contest and wanting to be able to develop Shugodam land for agriculture. Imprisonment[]
Kaguragi Dybowski was charged with the possession of inhumane agricultural machinery. The Ground-Embedded Tiller Arijigoku (地中埋め込み型耕し機「ありぢごく」 Chichū Umekomigata Tagayashi-ki Arijigoku) was deemed anti-human and was seized.[1][2] TV STORY-Ep. 27: Arrival of The Uchu King
Time Skip[]
After the Uchu make their appearance, Kaguragi frees himself from prison and beats Minongan out of Tofu TV STORY-Ep. 27: Arrival of The Uchu King Later, he is violently struck down by a brainwashed Sebastian, causing Chikyu's peace treaties to go out of whack so he along with the other King-Ohgers planned to take blame but Jeramie stepped in, taking the blame all himself. Disgusted by what Hilbil forced Jeramie to sacrifice, he and the other King-Ohgers relentlessly and mercilessly fought Hilbil but she escaped unscathed. TV STORY-Ep. 29: Disqualified as King
Kings and Kyoryus[]
Dagded, furious at being tricked by the King-Ohgers simply sends them to an enslaved Earth, where Kaguragi and his team meet the 37th Super Sentai, the Kyoryugers (except King, Utsusemimaru and Amy) and a young man from the future called Prince. He quickly realizes thatshe can't transform but helps beat Debo Senking as well as Kabutoshin Deboth, fighting alongside Nobuharu Udo before leaving to Chikyu. TV STORY-Ep. 32: Encounter! Kyoryu! TV STORY-Ep. 33: Shugo! King and Kyoryu!!
Taking Chikyu Back[]
Upon returning to Chikyu, Glodi took over Tofu, reviving Iroki as a figurehead. Kaguragi reunites with Iroki, demanding his throne be returned and asking why Iroki hoarded the food for herself during the Wrath of God. He came to the conclusion that the food Iroki had eaten before she died was poisoned by Glodi, which is why she took it all and burnt them along with her to protect Tofu's reputation. He realizes his mistake of not slaying Iroki that day did in fact make him a traitor to her and he leaves to fight Glodi, succeeding on removing the necromancer from the throne and reclaiming Tofu. TV STORY-Ep. 37: Iroki's Rebellion After saving Shugodom from a revived Daigorg, bombs are planted under the King-Ohgers' thrones rendering helpless, but Kaguragi's was a fake and leaves the other rulers to deal with their bombs. he then arrives while the Husty brothers are in a duel and hands Rcules the OhgerLance and Crown, allowing Gira to be defeated and helping Rcules lower Dagded's guard long enough to be able to beat him alongside Gira. TV STORY-Ep. 41: Time to Save the Universe
After his King's Proof is unsealed, he is the second to test his new powers though he accidently catches fire is put in a ice tub to cool off. He tried to get Suzume's attention on preparations for Suzume's possible coranation but her attention to Rcules irks him. For a favor from Rita, he talks to Morphonia, telling her that the judge would love for her to be the next heir, inspiring her to talk with Rita. Later, he arrives in Gokkan and helps Rita seal Minongan Moth. After beating the Jester, he asks that Suzume be by Rcules' side and to live to enrich her own life as well. TV STORY-Ep. 45: Heirs to the King After a new God's Wrath was started by Glodi, Kaguragi and his agents helped plant evacuation routes into the Bug Narkau Kingdom. He later helped beat Glodi in King-Ohger with his team. TV STORY-Ep. 47: Silence God
After most of the Jesters had been slain, Yanma suggested evolving the Ohsama Gattai King-Ohger one last time by combining the powers of their King's Proofs to match the galactic might of their enemy. However, Dagded arrives and beats the King-Ohgers, deciding to simply clean up Chikyu himself. Kaguragi had given his King's Proof to Kuroda, in hopes that the people would carry on the fight while he and the other King-Ohgers fought off Dagded long enough for the people to leave Chikyu. TV STORY-Ep. 48: Farewell, Dear People
During the war, he gave himself sometime to rest when Iroki had come and borrowed his OhgerCalibur to fight as Hachi Ohger in his place. TV STORY-Ep. 49: The Kings Are Here The King-Ohgers rejoin the war and beat Dagded by forming the Ultimate King-Ohger and reluctantly having to sacrifice the Shugods. In the future, Chikyu is at peace. The rulers discuss making the kingdoms one trying to find a name for the fused kingdom. The King-Ohgers can't settle on a name so they decide a battle royale is in order to decide. TV STORY-Final Ep.: We Will Rule the World
Donbrothers vs King-Ohger[]
In Tofu, Jiro enters the castle by force and meets Kaguragi. While Jiro is supposed to ask on where his whereabout and a way to get out, Jiro is admired by Kaguragi's figure. Kaguragi feels the same and both of them are going for a sumo duel before talking. However, they die during the match just from a starting tackle. The dead Sentai teams of the King-Ohgers and Donbrothers fight in Hakabaka, with Kaguragi and Jiro fighting each other but Minoru arrives and attacks them. With one enemy to fight, the King-Ohgers and Donbrothers beat the monster together and all parties are going out of Hakabaka as if they are not even remembering that they are dead. Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger in Space[]
On planet Tyler, the Alienizer mafia leader known as Donking hosts an illegal fighting tournament, offering the OhgerCrown as the prize for the champion. After learning from Kaguragi Dybowski, who obtained information from Marvelous, Gira, Prince, and Utchy trace the thief to another planet. After, Donking refuses to reward Prince and instead summons Machine Beast Bara Breaker to eliminate him, the tournament is raided by Doggie Kruger and the other King-Ohgers and he with his team and alongside Tsurugi Otori and Doggie Kruger, proclaims their commitment to protect the universe. Personality[]
Kaguragi is a very gentle, wise, and peaceful king who cares for his citizens. However, he is a master of deceit who will do even dirty work as long as it is to protect his kingdom and citizens. He is also noted to be a liar, falsely claiming he anticipated the King-Ohgers to ally to fight the Bug Naraku, much to the disagreement of the others. Despite some of his rather unscrupulous personality traits, Kaguragi is shown to deeply care for his younger sister, Suzume.
Despite his deceit and lies, Kaguragi has shown to the rest of the King-Ohgers that he actually despises Rcules. Yanma has noted that to trust Kaguragi, one must understand his heart and goal first, which is why Yanma was able to trust Kaguragi for taking down Rcules.
In teamwork with the rest of the kings, Kaguragi often to make his own personal move for his own agenda. While it always gives a benefit to the team, none of them are usually happy with how he performs it. Whenever his plan is busted and it is not a bad moment, he always gives 'Bwuh' reaction for playing dumb.

- King's Proof: Sealed within Kaguragi's necklace which bears the mark of the crest of Tofu, Kaguragi can create and control fire. It can be used to help counter the weakness of the power within Rita's King's Proof.
- Superhuman Strength: Kaguragi's has shown enough strength to demolish a massive block of ice on his own.
Abilities[]
- Master Manipulator: Kaguragi is adept at fooling people into confiding in him, allowing him to trick multiple people at once for long-term cons.
- Brainwashing Immunity: Kaguragi has such mental fortitude that he can even "betray himself," making him immune to Hilbil Leech’s brainwashing.
Weaknesses[]
- Self-Inflicted Burning: If Kaguragi uses his King's Proof's power for too long, the fire he creates will eventually grow to intense temperatures, backfiring and burning him. However, this weakness can be countered when the power is used alongside the power within Rita's King's Proof.

- Energy Stinger: By using the command of Ryouga Issen (凌牙一閃 Ryōga Issen, lit. Flashing Fang), Hachi Ohger can summon God Hachi's stinger, allowing him to use it as a second blade, or give powerful punches.
Attacks[]
- Ohger Finish (オージャフィニッシュ Ōja Finisshu): Hachi Ohger activates the black switch on the OhgerCalibur fron one to three times, summoning a swarm of hornets to merge onto the blade, converting it to be engulfed in fire. Hachi Ohger then slashes the opponent in various flame attacks.
- Ohger Slash (オージャスラッシュ Ōja Surasshu): Hachi Ohger presses the emblem on the Kings Weapon in Claw Mode to execute a triple grey energy slash at the opponent. Another version is when a purple stinger is formed, and used to stab an enemy.

- Gira Husty/Kuwagata Ohger: Kaguragi is fond of Gira's sincerity to help people in need. Since the first time Gira has shown his resolve to dethrone Racles, he has set up the plan to double cross Racles. Kaguragi shows how much he appreciates Gira to be the king by letting Gira to use the Ohger Crown, claiming Gira to be the one worthy for taking its power.
- Yanma Gast/Tombo Ohger: Kaguragi has no quarrel with Yanma, but Yanma dislikes Kaguragi's deceptive persona. However, Kaguragi is shown to be a joker card for Yanma because Yanma understands him better than Rcules. Both share a great partnership to take down Rcules.
- Hymeno Ran/Kamakiri Ohger: Kaguragi and Hymeno get along well-enough on the surface, though both have shown distaste for the other's personal habits. Hymeno (like Yanma) isn't fond of Kaguragi's toady tendencies, though the latter tends to dismiss her when she brings it up.
- Rita Kaniska/Papillon Ohger: Kaguragi and Rita have yet to express much personal involvement with one another, but have been known to collaborate from time-to-time.

- Rcules Husty/Ohkuwagata Ohger: Kaguragi deems him to be unworthy as a king for his kingdom. To ensure his downfall, Kaguragi set an alliance with him and secretly investigating his power so he can steal or give it to the one who is worthy. Kaguragi manages to fool Rcules until his complete downfall. When Rcules resurfaces as Shugod Mask, Kaguragi once again allies with him with the two setting up the death of Goma Rosalia so that Rcules can take over his place as one of the Uchu Five Jesters. He then helps Rcules in his third duel against Gira by keeping the other monarchs occupied with booby-trapped whoopie cushions and delivering the Ohger Crown to him to defeat Gira. It was then revealed that thanks to his sister, Kaguragi was aware of Rcules' greater motives with him admitting that Rcules made great use of him all this time rather than the other way around as he thought showcasing the two as allies, who trust each other to keep up with their deceptions for the sake of their countries.

Kaguragi Dybowski is portrayed by So Kaku (佳久 創 Kaku Sō). As Hachi Ohger, his suit actor is Shogo Teramoto (寺本 翔悟 Teramoto Shōgo). As Kamakiri Ohger, when body swapped his suit actress is Yume Sakanashi (坂梨 由芽 Sakanashi Yume).
Design[]
- The face design of Hachi Ohger's helmet is based on the overhead view of a hornet, the mouth plate is colored with four horizontal orange lines to represent a hornet's abdomen.
Etymology[]
- Kaguragi's given name is derived from the Japanese name for the Turnip sawfly
(カブラハバチ Kaburahabachi), an insect within the order Hymenoptera which resembles a wasp with a black body,[3] while his surname comes from the scientific name of the "black hornet", Vespa dybowskii, also known as "Dybowski's hornet".[4]
- In pre-production stages, Kaguragi was originally named Kaburagi (カブラギ) whilst retaining the same last name.[5]
