This article is about a/an comic book crossover in the Power Rangers comic sub-franchise by Boom! Studios.
Justice League/Power Rangers is a 2017 six issue mini-series crossover conceived by Boom! Studios and DC Comics featuring the characters from the Justice League of America comic series and Boom's modern comic book incarnations of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. The first issue debuted on January 11th, 2017.
Lord Zedd attacks the Command Center with an army of Putties and Zack arrives to defend it and Zordon. During his attempt to teleport them out, the teleportation relay is destroyed by a fake version of Alpha 5 with a bomb implanted in him. This causes the teleportation to malfunction and send Zack, Lord Zedd and the Putties to cross dimensions, where a "Dark" and familiar figure witnesses their arrival. The Rangers teleport to the same coordinates Zack went to and end up stranded in a world where super-powered gods and caped avengers of justice are an everyday thing and villains are far more monstrous than anything Rita or Zedd could create.
The entire six issue run of Justice League/Power Rangers was collected together and re-released in a Limited Edition Hard Cover book on December 12, 2017 and in a softbound trade paperback book on November 27, 2018.
Notes[]
At the end of an interview with Comics Alliance, Tom Taylor and Stephen Byrne joked at the idea of the Justice League getting their own Megazord "maybe in a sequel".[2]
