Jouji Nakata (中田 譲治 Nakata Jōji) is a Japanese actor better known for playing villainous roles, most notably as Sir Kauler of Choshinsei Flashman and Great Professor Bias of Choju Sentai Liveman. He was also the voice actor for Great Scientist Zaien in the Liveman tribute 30th episode of Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger. He also voiced Azald in Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger, Tankjoh in Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger and Great King Bokkowaus in Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger[1].
Although initially working as an actor in Super Sentai, Nakata has become well known for his anime roles as a voice actor, most notables including Alucard of Hellsing, the Count of Monte Cristo in Gankutsuou, Corporal Giroro of Sgt. Keroro, Master Megatron/Galvatron in Transformers: Galaxy Force, Kirei Kotomine in Fate/stay night, the narrator of Mobile Suit Victory Gundam, Zavok in Sonic the Hedgehog series & Keyes in Fairy Tail.
His video game roles are Assassin (King Hassan I Sabbah) in Fate/Grand Order and Sojiro Sakura in Persona 5.
In other Toei works, he has portrayed Shigeru Sugiyama
in Kamen Rider Black and some minor roles in Metal Hero Series, as well as been the narrator in Kamen Rider OOO. He also voiced Birth Driver and Birth Buster in Kamen Rider OOO and Gamettsu
in Mahou Tsukai Pretty Cure.
