- Jason Chan is the only actor to have worn the Shurikenger suit to have had no prior acting roles in Power Rangers or Super Sentai (albeit, Cam was never intended to be an identity of Shurikenger in the first place and Ninja Storm being separate from Hurricaneger). In addition to the eleven identities played by Sentai alumni in Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger:
- Koumi Hashimoto, who played the new Shurikenger in Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger: 10 YEARS AFTER, previously played Kenta Sawai in episode 39 of Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters
- Toshihiro Yashiba, who played Tsumuji Igasaki in Shuriken Sentai Ninninger and Shurikenger disguised as Tsumuji in episode 43, played a recording executive in episodes 22 and 23 in Bakuryu Sentai Abaranger
