Ishabana (イシャバーナ Ishabāna) is a nation renowned for the arts and medicine in Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger.[1]
Overview[]
Ishabana is one of the five kingdoms on the planet of Chikyu. It is a country located east of Shugodom, where medical care and the arts are more prominent. It is made up of several small island nations. The queen's place of residence is Flopital Castle, which is built on a giant flower that rises in the center of the islands. The clothes are reminiscent to those from the Victorian Era (Although its royal court modeled on France's during the Ancien Régime.)
The national flag is a flower with a praying mantis in the center.
The prominence of art & medical care is seen with many citizens, including the Royals, having superior medical techniques which is enough for them to cure most of the known medical problems. For the beauty of the country, it is based on the queen, Hymeno Ran's own sense of beauty, creating the beautiful view, while fulfilling the happiness of herself and the citizens.
History[]
According to Jeramie Brasieri, shortly after the five heroes defeated the Bug Naraku 2000 years ago, they could not agree on who would be the king of all Chikyu and a fight broke among them. One of the heroes, Reiniol Husty, challenged the others to each of their special talents and won. He split Chikyu into five kingdoms, one of them being Ishabana. TV STORY-Ep. 21: Push Forward on the High Road
The country was devastated 15 years ago by the Wrath of God. At the same time, the previous rulers, Hymeno Ran's parents, were assassinated by Glodi Leucodium. This left Hymeno with no choice but to ascend the throne at a young age.
Some time after Naraku King Desnaraku VIII's defeat, Hymeno was imprisoned for the careless launching off a 1000 megaton firework, which caused fires in neighboring countries, and Sebastian became a regent in her place. When Chikyu was attacked by the Uchu and her people were threatened by Hilbil Leech, Hymeno broke out of the prison and reclaimed her rightful position once again.
