Iroki (イロキ ) was the former Lord of Toufu in Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger. During her brief return from Hakabaka to fight against Dagded Dujardin, she temporarily transforms into Hachi Ohger (ハチオージャー HachiŌjā).
History[]
Pre-series[]
According to Kaguragi, after the Wrath of God incident, Iroki took all of Toufu's food supplies and locked herself away in the castle. As time passed, the people of Toufu began to starve to death, prompting Kaguragi to launch a coup against her, ending in her death and Kaguragi's control of the throne.
In truth, the food supply Iroki hoarded had been poisoned with God Scorpion's venom by Glodi Leucodium. She seized all of the supply before in order to keep people from consuming tainted food and protect Toufu's reputation. The Wrath of God had worsened her image as a tyrant, which led to a rebellion. Kaburagi had come to persuade her but she could not surrender over such unfit food. To that end, Iroki committed suicide by consuming the poisoned rice as her last meal, and ordered Kaburagi to execute her, which he could not go through with. She incinerated herself along with the condemned food in the castle. TV STORY-Ep. 37: Iroki's Rebellion
Adventure Heaven[]
She appeared only as a hallucination towards Kaguragi in the burning castle. When the two met inside the fire, Kaguragi questioned her if this is what she wanted for hoarding all the food. She refused to answer and asked him what did he get for betraying her, to which he responded the love of the people, country, and Kingship. She laughs at his answer and reminded him that just like her, someday someone will betray him too. She tries to lower his guard and goes in for a killing blow, only for Kaguragi to avoid it and Kuroda showing up to save him by kicking her face. He tells her he knows all too well about betrayal and will be ready for when such a day will come. She slowly turns to ash and laughs at this as the hallucination ends. Return[]
Thanks to Glodi's power, she was brought back to the world of the living during the 6-month period when the Kings were sent to Japan. Even though Glodi was put in charge of Toufu by Dagded, Iroki acted more as the proper ruler than him. Becoming aware of current events, rather than truly siding with the Uchu, she decided to use this second chance to test and confront Kaguragi after his failure years ago.
Upon his return, Iroki began to spread false rumors that he is destroying Toufu's food supply (in reality, it was her's and Kuroda's doing to prevent the food Glodi poisoned from spreading to the public once more) to lure him to her, with success. Alone with her previous servant, the two had a confronting debate with Kaguragi demanding the throne back while she questioned his resolve and duty as a lord. When questioned about his refusal to kill her when she ordered him to, he confessed he was too goodhearted and honest back then, and didn't want to carry that guilt, only to carry a much larger burden now.
In return, he told her he figured out the true reason for hoarding the poison food was to protect the people and Toufu's reputation, and that she was willing to go down in history as a villain for the greater good. Upon hearing that he'll do whatever it takes to protect his people (with Kaguragi depicted as going to the dirtiest path possible) and will now fulfill the order he failed to do the first time, she finally accepts him as the current lord of Toufu. Without fighting back, and even sarcastically remarked that Kaguragi need seventeen whole year to learn how to truly deceive, she accepted her fate as Kaguragi strikes her down with his sword. Dying a second time, her final moments were watching Kaguragi saving his friends from Glodi before fading away to dust, proudly calling Kaguragi her "little traitor." Personality[]
Iroki is shown to be a benevolent, yet cunning ruler. She appreciated Toufu's crops to a high degree, even from low class citizens, such as Kaguragi. Her cunningness is shown during the first Wrath of Gods, with her hoarding all of Toufu's contaminated crops and bringing them down with her in flames, just to save her citizens and Toufu's reputation. She does not mind being labelled as a tyrant from her citizens, ultimately becoming the catalyst of Kaguragi's deceitful nature.
After her revival, she maintains her cunning nature and an even sharper tongue than when she was alive. However, she still held Toufu and its citizens at heart.
