Inkworth is the butler of Bajillia Naire and Lord Zedd and a minor antagonist in Power Rangers Cosmic Fury. Much like Bajillia and Squillia previously, Inkworth is shown to have a squid-like appearance but with a torn trench coat and crystalline features.
History[]
Inkworth's origins are unknown, but when Squid Ink Inc. was founded by Bajillia Naire and led by her and her daughter, he was already the company's president with the staff consisting of the company's mass produced footsoldiers; the Zentinels and Copyguards. Although ostensibly like any other weapons seller, Squid Ink Inc. was deeply corrupt (calling themselves "the galaxy's largest and most evil weapons corporation") and wanted to plunge the entire universe into war so they could sell weapons to each side and almost print money.
Inkworth is first seen with Lord Zedd and Bajillia, offering a drink to Zedd and looking the battle of Zordnia before Squillia and later Scrozzle join them. Scrozzle uses his Master Captivator to capture all six Morphin Masters, leaving the Rangers without support, forcing them to retreat. After the battle, he is seen again on Bajillia's Mega Squidrill proposing another drink to the Emperor of Evil but Lord Zedd berates him because this battle was not the victory that he hoped. TV STORY-Lightning Strikes
Inkworth is seen again on Bajillia's Mega Squidrill during the reunion where Lord Zedd is furious that their journey is too long before they reach the Earth. He sees Doodrip goes rogue when he steals Squillia's Mega Squidrill to prove himself by defeating the Rangers. Enraged because he could be a joke if this "traitor" succeeded, Lord Zedd says that if Doodrip succeeds in defeating the Rangers, he will destroy him and take the credit but if the general fails, he would finish the job.
Soon after Bajillia's Mega Squidrill and the fleet reach the Earth, they learn that Squillia's Mega Squidrill was destroyed. Whereas Inkworth stays on the Mega Squidrill along with Bajillia and Squillia, Zedd sends many Zentinels to find Dinohenge. They find it and Zedd appears, defeats Billy and Aiyon and destroys the statues, (the Mosa, Ankylo, Saber Toothed Tiger and Stego statues), except the Tricera Statue on Ollie's request so that he can still serve him. Without their powers, the Rangers are forced to retreat with their base. Zedd makes Ollie one of his generals and then orders him to find the Rangers. He orders the Zentinels to take the Tricera Statue in security to the Mega Squidrill and proclaims his victory. TV STORY-Beyond Repair
Later, in Lord Zedd's Fortress on Eltar, Inkworth is furiously berated by Zedd for a task poorly done. TV STORY-Team Work
As the Rangers enter into Eltar's orbit planning to save the purified Ollie from Lord Zedd's clutches, Inkworth enlarges himself to prevent them from doing so given his role as the worthy butler. He creates a fuzzy thunderstorm where he engages in a fight with the Cosmic Fury and Cosmic Dragon Megazords. Though he bests them with his lightning and tentacle attacks at first, the Cosmic Fury Rangers form the Cosmic Fury Ultrazord to obliterate him. TV STORY-Master Plan (Cosmic Fury)
Personality[]
Inkworth is a hard working and loyal butler, but when his employer is angered over something completely trivial, he'll blame himself whether or not it was even his fault. He has a very low self-esteem.
Powers and Abilities[]
Powers[]
- Enlarging: Inkworth can enlarge himself at will.
- Head Ink Rain: Inkworth can charge up with blue energy and shoot dark ink from his head into the sky that will create black clouds and rain to reduce visibility for his foes.
- Tentacle Generation: Much like his fellow squid-themed villains Bajillia and Squillia, Inkworth can launch tentacles from his body to attack or ensnare his opponents like whips.
- Lightning Summoning: Inkworth can conjure white lightning from the skies to strike at his foes, which are powerful enough to disassemble the two Megazords.
- Lightning Beams: Inkworth can fire light blue colored lightning beams from his hands.
Abilities[]
- Ultra Strength: Despite Inkworth's appearance, he has a great amount of raw strength, being strong enough to throw the Cosmic Fury Megazord into the Cosmic Dragon Megazord when they were bound in his tentacles. He was even able to nearly destroy both Megazords.
- Skilled Fighter: Despite Inkworth's role as a butler, he proved to be a skilled fighter in his own right, as he was able to take on both the Cosmic Fury Megazord and Cosmic Dragon Megazord on his own.
Weaknesses[]
- Inkworth has not displayed any weaknesses throughout the series.
Arsenal[]
- Bladed Rifle: During his Megazord fight against the Cosmic Fury Rangers, Inkworth was armed with a rifle that has a stylized blade at the end to use as a sword for an aid in combat.
