Mechanic Officer Ijirude (技官イジルデ Kikan Ijirude) was a villain of Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger who serves the Kikaitopia Dynasty Tojitendo as their resident genius.
History
Ijirude joined the Tojitendo and became third in command of the Tojitendo (second only to field general Mobile Commander Barashitara and the Tojitendo's ruler Great King Boccowaus). It was Ijirude that invented the Parallel World Gate which they had been using to observe and go to various parallel worlds as part of their nefarious schemes for conquest of the entire multiverse. At some point in the past prior to the start of the aforementioned series' events, while he was using the Parallel World Gate to monitor the parallel worlds that they are intending to conquer as part of their evil plans, Ijirude had noticed both Isao Gokishida and Mitsuko Gokishida along with successfully capturing them as part of his sinister goals.
Not only that, after he had captured the two scientists themselves, he had stolen their knowledge regarding the Sentai Gears in order to create the technology that would be used as the basis of the Tojiru Gears which would be utilized as part of Boccowaus' tyrannical goals of ruling over all of existence. However, in order to maintain his credibility as the kingdom's resident genius, he had kept the entire truth regarding the technology that was used to create the Tojiru Gears as well as the current status of both of Kaito Gokishida's parents to himself. Zenkaiger
As part of Great King Boccowaus' grand plan, Barashitara and Ijirude (the Tojitendo's resident genius) begin consuming the various worlds and trapping them inside Tojiru Gears. These include those of the Gorengers (while they were fighting Zolders), the Zyurangers (in the midst of their battle against Dora Goblin) and the Kiramagers (as Juru fights Galza). Ijirude is first seen with Barashitara as Boccowaus ask for a field report and he reveals that a single world remains out of their grasp before they have absolute control over the multi-verse. When Boccowaus is less than impressed since he had three months to conquer this world and has achieved nothing, he tries to explain himself only for Vroon (the janitor) to pipe up and for Ijirude to have to blast him down. With that small matter dealt with, Boccowaus tells him to find and eliminate the anomaly causing this disruption in their plans. However, Boccowaus' pet bird Gege suggests that they should invade this world. However, the plan ultimately fails due to the intervention of Juran the Kikaitopian and Kaito Goshikida who found the Zenkaigers and deal the Tojitendo their first defeat. TV STORY-No. 1-kai! The World of Kikai is Kikikaikai!
After he had witnessed Zenkaizer's and Zenkai Juran's use of the Sentai Gears during the Tojitendo's first invasion of Kaito Gokishida's homeworld along with noticing the similarities between the aforementioned heroes' Sentai Gears and the Tojitendo's Tojiru Gears, he had discovered that he could infuse the Kudakks (the Tojitendo footsoldiers) with Tojiru Gears to turn them into special monsters dubbed World Monsters in order to convert entire dimensions to their rule. Ijirude continues his project even as Boccowaus and Barashitara discuss the disgrace of using Garbage World to create Garbagetopia since Boccowaus considers it a personal insult. They mention his absence but nothing comes of it. TV STORY- No. 6-kai! Unpleasant and Mysterious Garbage Handling!
Ijirude (having taken a break from his mysterious project) attends a meeting where Barashitara is disgusted when a Kudakk sent to Earth to attack the Earth with a Kudaiter returns as the sole. However, when a Tojiru Gear falls down after Boccowaus pounds the ground, Gege suggests punishing the Kudakk by infusing it with the power. Boccowaus agrees and Ijirude inserts it into the Kudakk which creates Super Warumono World who is later destroyed by the Zenkaigers. TV STORY-Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger The Movie: Red Battle! Ijirude’s special project is revealed to be an evil copy of the Geartlingers dubbed the Geartozinger with the same capabilities. He reveals this to Boccowaus as Stacy confronts the Zenkaigers with said weapon much to his majesty’s surprise but also admirance. Later on, after Stacy henshins, Barashitara confronts Ijirude and he reveals his motives for using Stacy. As it turns out, Stacy is being used as little more than an experimental guinea pig since he needs to test it on a human first due to the similarities between Stacaesar and Zenkaizer. Even so, Stacy later has to withdraw due to overusing his Sentai Gears. TV STORY-No. 7-kai! The Prince of the Demon World is Short-Tempered!
Ijirude is confronted by Boccowaus when Stacy’s tactic of summoning many primary Robos from Super Sentai history fails as they cease to exist. Ijirude realizes that using too many Gears at once has completely drained the Geartzoinger of all of its power so it needs to recharge. TV STORY-No. 8-kai! Door to Door from Another World?!
Endgame
When he had heard news that the Zenkaigers had somehow been transported to the Tojitendo Palace, Ijirude had prepared his personal mecha aka the Ijirudestroyer IV in order to deal with the heroes themselves once and for all. In spite of the combination of both the power of one of his self-proclaimed great inventions and the support of a summoned Kudaitest so that he could one up his opponents, Ijirude had lost the advantage that he had in the fight in question as a result of the arrival of the other Zenkaigers along with Secchan. During the climax of the final showdown itself, Zenkaizer proceeds to list down everything that Ijirude had played a significant part in throughout the series in question with all of the other Zenkaigers offering their own opinions regarding Ijirude's actions throughout the series itself. Once everything has been said and done, the Ijirudestroyer IV tried to defend itself from the Zenkaigers' final attack but they had successfully broke through its guard which had destroyed the giant robot itself. As a result, the Tojitendo's resident genius only had just about enough time to scream Boccowaus' name out loud before he had perished along with his personal giant robot in a blaze of glory. Legacy
Despite his death, Buccowaus would finish absorbing the Tojiru Gears that he had asked Ijirude to retrieve beforehand which would allow him to assume his final form. However, he himself would be eventually destroyed by the Zenkaigers as well. Unbeknownst to everyone, as the heroes are celebrating their well deserved victory, a mysterious god who had been pulling the strings of the yearlong conflict in question would transport Ijirude’s Tojiru Gear system to the World of Zenkaiger and use it to seal all of the Parallel Worlds back into Tojiru Gears with the exception of the World of Zenkaiger. TV STORY-No. 48-kai! Sky Full of Stars, The Dynasty Collapses! After his defeat against Kaito in a game of Scissors, Paper, Stone for the fate of all Parallel Worlds, the god himself would then inform Kaito of the secret location of the Tojiru Gear System which happens to be located above the Tokyo Skytree as well as the aforementioned machine having a cloaking system which would enable it to hide itself in plain sight. Kaito would proceed to destroy the machine with the Zenryoku Zenkai Cannon which had, in turn, freed all of the Parallel Worlds in question along with destroying the last of Ijirude’s insidious inventions. Personality
The self-proclaimed genius of the Tojitendo, Mechanic Officer Ijirude is a typical schemer as he is constantly thinking of new ideas and strategies in order to try and sabotage or kill the Zenkaigers.
Ijirude has proven himself to be a very shameless individual due to the fact that he had called himself the Tojitendo's greatest genius even though most of the inventions that he had created which had made the most significant contributions in the dynasty's goals for multiversal conquest are actually plagiarized works that are thought up by two scientists that he had captured beforehand.
He is also a very deceitful coward as he is willing to cover up any and all mistakes or secrets that he fears would make him potentially lose face with Boccowaus and his fellow peers by any means necessary. For example, when Vroon had brought up the detail that when a Great World had been destroyed as a result of the utilized Tojiru Gear in question had been freed which caused the corresponding parallel world to become freed, Ijirude proceeds to send an army of Kudakks in order to kill him so that he could cover up the aforementioned detail. Not only that, a prominent example of his deceitfulness would be his act of keeping the two scientists that he had captured beforehand a secret from everyone else while claiming sole credit for creating the Tojiru Gears, Hakaizer and the Zenryoku Zenkai Cannon before he was forced to confess the entirety of his most valued contributions to Boccowaus himself once Hakaizer had accidentally revealed his true identity to all of the Zenkaigers and Stacy.
In addition to that, Ijirude is a selfish person who is always willing to throw another person under the bus in order to save his own skin. For example, when Ijirude was punished by Boccowaus as a result of HaKaijuOh's destruction as well as permanently losing Hakaizer, he had decided to pin the blame on Stacy and accuse him for playing a part in the two aforementioned events in order to spare himself from facing even more severe punishment as a result of HaKaijuOh's destruction and losing Hakaizer even though Stacy himself had been following all of Ijirude's plans throughout the duration of their partnership.
