Toshio Hayakawa (早川 俊夫 Hayakawa Toshio), better known by his stage name Ichirou Mizuki (水木 一郎 Mizuki Ichirō), was a Japanese singer and actor best known for his work on theme songs for anime and tokusatsu. He was also the founding member of the anison band JAM Project, alongside Masaaki Endoh and Hironobu Kageyama. His most popular and most notable works were the opening themes of the Mazinger Z franchise.
He made his acting debut in the Super Sentai series Hyakuju Sentai Gaoranger as the voice of Poseidon Org.
He previously played Voicelugger Gold
in Voicelugger. He portrayed Saburo Hazuki in Tokumei Sentai Go-Busters.
Mizuki had passed away on December 6, 2022 due to lung cancer, at the age of 74.[1]
