Homuras (ホムラス, Homurasu) is the Demon King of Fire (炎の魔王, Honō no Maō) of the Neo Deboth Army who is the most disloyal of Deizarus's followers and likes seeing his victims suffering.

History

With Jinarik, Homuras was one of the first of the Neo Deboth Army to appear on Earth; he met his match in Brave Red Dino. TV STORY-King 1: The Birth of a New King!

Among his fellow generals, Homuras witnessed the arrival of the space mercenary Juhyeok, who offered to defeat the Brave Dino Force Rangers for Deizarus. TV STORY-King 3: Gabugaburincho, We're a Team!

Realizing that Deizarus suspected Juhyeok to hold the Power of the Dragon King, Homuras stepped in to draw it from him alongside Raimein. Though their combined attack provoked a reaction seemingly confirming Deizarus' suspicions, Homuras was nevertheless beaten back by Brave Red Dino. TV STORY-King 6: Brother! Howling Crying Soul!

When Neo Deboth was challenged by Juhyeok, Homuras met him on Deizarus' behalf alongside Raimein and Arash. Overwhelming Brave Gold Dino, the generals were matched by the arrival of the four Rangers followed by Juyong. Homuras was beaten back by Brave Black and Blue Dino then retreated along with Raimein while Arash remained and ultimately fell. TV STORY-King 10: Farewell! Brave Gold Dino

Realizing that Juyong was the true Dragon King, Deizarus sent forth Homuras to acquire him. Enlarging, Homuras arrived in the city where he was confronted by Brave Gigant TyrannoKing and, though gave the Dino Force Brave a fight, he was ultimately destroyed. • Enlarging: As a member of the Neo Deboth Army, Homuras possesses the ability to enlarge himself at will.
• Teleportation: He can teleport from places in a burst of flames.

Behind the Scenes

Portrayal

• Homuras is voiced by Lee Jang-won while in Japanese dub, he was voiced by Tetsu Inada (稲田 徹, Inada Tetsu), who is well known for voicing Doggie Kruger/DekaMaster in Tokuso Sentai Dekaranger.

Design

• As with all of the members of Neo Deboth Army, Homuras is designed by K-SuKe. The character is themed after a lighter.
• The suit is a rebuilt, repainted, and modified version of Resentful Knight Endolf.

Etymology

• His name comes from flame (炎, homura).
