Hattena (ハッテナー Hattenā) was a bead and scholar themed Player.
History[]
Hailing from Team Quval, Hattenna is in actuality the cap on his head from which he psychically controls the Dummy Bio Body which he uses to fight. Hattena holds a Blood Game of his Word Hunt which steals every word in his vicinity including Earth to hopefully impress Ginis by how much thier inability to communicate will cause incredible suffering and thus allow Quval to win his bet with Azald. Hattena arrives on Earth shortly after Tusk inadvertently causes chaos in a bookshop. He arrives in front of a random guy who flees as the Zyuohgers arrive and swiftly deliver a beat-down to Hattena with the Zyuoh Busters Sword Mode before Yamato unloads hundreds of rounds into his stomach. Knocked down to his knees, he pretends to be injured but instead isn't and immediately heals himself before laying a beat-down to Yamato and taking down the Zyuohgers before retreating for whatever reason. Later, once Tusk has been forced to work for a bookshop owner he hurt and is giving a lecture to some kids, Hattena returns and four of the Zyuohgers henshin whilst Tusk evacuates the kids before they do an abridged version of thier roll call. Taking on Hattena, they are swiftly beaten down but Leo tackles him and Amu tries to maul him only to be thrown off even as the whole team kick him away and combine thier blasts but Hattena reforms. Absolutely confident, he immediately throws off his hat which blasts down the entire team and steal thier word comprehension which leaves them unable to read or talk. With the Zyuohgers stumbling around uselessly, Hattena unleashes his hat which rapid fires off energy blasts and steals every piece of writing in the entire city except for Tusk and the bookseller as it targets one of thier books instead.
As Ginis is impressed at the plan, Hattena delivers a cruel beat-down to the Zyuohgers and quickly de-morphs them with even the Zyuoh Changers having had thier numbers erased and are thus unable to re-henshin. However, at this point, Tusk arrives and Hattena is forced to fight the only Zyuohger capable of morphing but is soon sent flying and delivered a devastating energy slash across the throat only to heal that as well before taking down Tusk. However, through a demented game of charades, Tusk eventually realizes that Hattena's weakness (big surprise) is his hat as they deduced from how he stole thier words earlier. However, since this is only communicated through "cow" (which is "ushi" in Japanese) and stick ("bo") which combines into "boushi" meaning hat in Japanese, he has to fight off several attacks from Hattena in the meantime and the bookshop owner has to spell it out to him. Bored, Hattena tries to hit him several times with his Word-Hunt Combo but Tusk dodges them all and impales the hat before throwing it down and activating his Instinct Awakened form. Using this form, he power stomps it into the air before power stomping hard enough to obliterate Hattena altogether. With all of the Cubes now usable, they form [[Hattena's death restores all of the writing and language in Tokyo much to everyone's delight.
However, Quval asks Naria to enlarge Hattena and give him a second chance so she agrees. She teleports down and enlarges Hattena by placing a Continue Medal on his corpse, enlarging the Player who she throws into the sky as he explosively enlarges and thanks her. Oddly though, due to being separated from his body, only Hattena's true hat body is actually enlarged and so the Zyuohgers summon thier Zyuoh Cubes to form Zyuoh King Kirin Bazooka and ZyuohWild. ZyuohKing Kirin Bazooka unleashes dozens of Zyuoh Shots but Hattena dodges all of them and is able to forcibly take control of ZyuohWild whilst also rendering Zyuoh Gorilla, Leo and Sela all helpless inside. He repeatedly blasts ZyuohWild with the Kirin Bazooka repeatedly but Tusk makes it jump up and stab Hattena clean off of it's head with the Mogura Drill. With all of thier Cubes free, they form Wild ZyuohKing and obliterate Hattena with the Zyuoh Dynamic Strike. Whatever becomes of his body was unknown but it can be presumed it turned to dust upon his death.
Personality[]
Hattena was an incredibly sadistic individual who loved collecting worlds like DC Comic's Braniac. Much like Ginis, Hattena was a completely bigoted individual believing that anyone that wasn't Deathgalien was inferior scum worthy of mockery. Whilst mocking his enemies, he had a habit of repeating words a lot (eg "and then and then and then.")

- Strength-Hattena was able to stab Yamato hard enough to go flying into the other Zyuohgers and knock them all down and later throw off Amu when she grabbed him.
- Durability-Hattena was shot hundreds of times in the stomach by Yamato but survived to escape.
- Regeneration-Hattena was able to reform any injury inflicted on his fake body (up to and including hundreds of shots through his stomach) by making his skin warp back together.
Abilities[]
- Weapon Combat-Hattena was easily able to take down all five of the Zyuohgers with his staff in seconds.
- Decent Hand to Hand Combatant-Hattena was easily able to knock down four of the Zyuohgers with his bare hands in seconds.
- Super Jumps-Hattena was able to jump about thirty feet into the air.
- Flight-After jumping, Hattena was able to spin his body around 360 degrees infinitely to basically fly into the air.
- Agility-Hattena was easily able to sidestep a big downward swing from Tusk when thier fight began.
Weaknesses[]
- Forced Body Loss-Hattena's real form was the hat he "wore" on all of his bodies an could even retain control whilst separated for his Word-Hun Combo move. However, if he was forcibly separated from his body, the form would either slump over lifelessly or (in the case of ZyuohWild) be placed back into the Zyuohgers' control.
- Body Reliance-Hattena relied on taking control of other bodies to fight. Without them, he was helpless and completely open to being killed.

- Levitation-Hattena could throw off his hat and it would then float into the air on its own as well as fly.
- Agility-Whilst flying, Hattena was able to dodge multiple Zyuoh Shots from ZyuohKing Kirin Bazooka.
- Body Control-Using his real body, Hattena could latch onto the head of a random body and take complete control of it.
- Mecha Control: Using his real body, Hattena could latch onto the head of ZyuohWild and take control of it.
- Combo: Word Hunting (ワードハンティング Wadō Hanthinngu): Hattena's signature combo move which allowed him to shoot a yellow laser beam from his floating hat. Anything that the beam hit would cause any form of writing (such as letter and number) to disappear and be absorbed into Hattena's main body.
- Muting-Hattena's Word Hunting combo could also effect living beings and cause them to become completely mute aside from distressed grunting and mumbling.
- Ultimate Technique, Word-Hunting: Full Auto (究極のテクニック; ワードハンティング：フルオート Kyūkyoku no tekunikku; wādohantingu: Furuōto)-The ultimate form of Hattena's Word Hunting combo move where he made his hat levitate right off his head and fire off hundreds of his energy beams to steal everyone else's writing as well.
- Muting-Hattena's Word Hunting combo could also effect living beings and cause them to become completely mute aside from distressed grunting and mumbling.
