- "The seal's broken! Look alive!"

- "It's not here! The Light of Ginga isn't here! Why?! Ahahahahahahaha! I get it... So that's what happened... I'm the one who killed the man who brought the Light of Ginga here... But I never dreamed he'd lie where he hid it! The Light of Ginga was never here at all... It was all an act!"
- ―Sambash when he realized that BullBlack had tricked him.[src]
Gun General Sambash (銃頭サンバッシュ Jūtō Sanbasshu) was the hot-headed and leather-clad leader of the Sambash Majin Gang of the Space Pirates Barban. He was the first general chosen to attack Earth.
History[]
Past[]
3,000 years ago, Black Knight BullBlack came to Earth in an attempt to use the Lights of Ginga against the Balban only to be cornered by Sambash. After taking the key to the chest containing the Lights and learning where he had hidden them, Sambash seemingly killed Bullblack but never told his comrades or captain of what he had learned, deciding to keep the knowledge to himself should he ever need it. Shortly after defeating BullBlack however, Sambash was sealed away with the rest of the Balban by the first generation of Gingamen. TV STORY-Chapter 18: The Mysterious Black Knight
Gingaman[]
Gun Boss Sambash is released in 1999 alongside the rest of the Balban when the seal breaks and is chosen as the first general chosen by Captain Zahab to attack the Earth and uncover Daitanix. Leading an army of Yartots in an invasion of the countryside, Sambash is joined by the rest of the Balban but is confronted by the new generation of Gingamen who force him and his generals to retreat. TV STORY-Chapter 1: The Legendary Blades
Despite the initial setback, Sambash sends his first Majin Kolshizer to find a fuel source on Earth to awaken Daitanix. Therefore, he targets automobile gasoline and he and the Yarlots destroy a lot of cars and cause a lot of damage while trying to accomplish this theft, before being stopped by the Gingaman. TV STORY-Chapter 2: The Return of the Starbeasts
After numerous failures to revive Daitanix, Sambash finds himself faced with imminent execution but is able to convince Captain Zahab to grant him one final chance. By having his minion Neikaa create earthquakes, Sambash assures Zahab that his plan will break the seal on Daitanix just like a previous earthquake has broken the seal on the Balban. However, this is merely a front for Sambash's true plan. Though Neikaa is killed by GingaiOh, his earthquakes are able to unearth the hidden cave at Cape Kagerou where BullBlack has placed the Lights of Ginga. TV STORY-Chapter 11: A Warrior's Devotion
A seal had been placed on the cave's entrance that could only be undone by an Earth Wielder. Not to be deterred, Sambash has his final underling Gurinjii assume the form of Ryoma's brother Hyuga to trick Ryoma into fetching it for him. As Gurinjii is destroyed by Gingaioh, Sambash attempts to take the chest but is attacked by a vengeful Ryoma with both sustaining heavy wounds from each other. Down but not out, Sambash drags himself to the chest and opens it in order to use the Lights of Ginga to finally defeat the Gingaman only to find that Bullblack has deceived him and the chest is empty. With nothing left to lose, a crazed Sambash leaps onto his motorcycle and charges GingaRed in a suicide attack but is hit by GingaRed's Two Swords Flash attack which causes him to lose control and drive off a cliff where he explodes in mid air, thus bringing an end to the first army of the Balban. TV STORY-Chapter 12: Nightmare Reunited
Gun Boss Sambash is resurrected by Captain Gregory only to be killed once again by the Gingamen in Ginga Armor Shine. TV STORY-Seiju Sentai Gingaman vs. Megaranger

Sambash Majin Gang[]
Sambash's underlings were all insectoid creatures with a biker gang motif. Like their leader, they clad themselves in leather and fought in an unruly and wild fashion similar to street thugs. Their primary goal was to find a way to revive Daitanix by either gathering energy or altering the Earth's environment to better suit it. Their Balban Extract container was a whiskey flask.
