Notes

Grid Connection Cockpits

The archival footage of three Megazords' cockpits.

  • During the Megazords' fight, the archival footage of cockpits from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (1993), Power Rangers Dino Thunder (2004) and Power Rangers Dino Super Charge (2016) was used.
    • Footage of Dino Megazord and Thundersaurus Megazord's cockpits were seen only in SD quality due to lack of HD footage for them. This is in contrast to Kyoryuger vs. Go-Busters having the cockpits of Daizyuzin and AbarenOh be represented by a white void. As the Dino Charge Megazord's cockpit was redesigned from Kyoryuzin's, the props for its cockpit were the most readily available for fill-in scenes the Dino and Thundersaurus Megazord cockpits presumably scrapped. Additionally, much of the battle removed scenes of the cockpit shots and the Dino Megazord in battle.
  • This is the first time where all the core members of three dino-themed Power Rangers teams are fighting together.
  • Interestingly, this team-up episode contains four teams from different Power Rangers Eras:
  • This episode has similarities with Dimensions in Danger from Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel.
    • Veteran Rangers are asking the current team for help (Wes, Gemma and Koda in Dimensions in Danger; Tyler in the name of Dino Charge Rangers in Grid Connection).
    • The battle takes place in another dimension (Antiverse in Dimensions in Danger and Dino Charge Dimension in Grid Connection).
    • Returning rangers are led by a ranger from the original Mighty Morphin Team (Tommy in Dimensions in Danger; Jason in Grid Connection).
    • The current Ranger Team gets own mission (stealing Lord Draven's Mega-Arrows in Dimensions in Danger; stopping Evox from creating a zord in Grid Connection).
      • Interestingly, both missions failed (Lord Draven got Mega-Arrows back; Evox created the Chimera Zord).
    • Rangers summon old zords to defeat the villain (Falcon Zord in Dimensions in Danger; three Dino-themed Megazords in Grid Connection).
    • In both episodes, Rangers use a catchprase "Rangers forever, defending together!".
    • In both episodes, returning Rangers make compliments to the current team, saying that the legacy is in good hands.
    • In both episodes, Rangers use the Transportal Device.
    • Before returning to own dimension as the last one, the red ranger of current team says a quote summarizing the Team-Up ("Now that was epic!" by Brody in Dimensions in Danger; "This adventure was better than any video game!" by Devon in Grid Connection).

Errors

  • After Devon and the Legendary Dino Rangers destroyed Evox's Chimera Zord, the Dino Super Drive Saber was taken by Ivan.
