This article is about an ally in Power Rangers Lightspeed Rescue. |
- "Do it right or you're fired."
- ―Grandmother Winslow[src]
Grandmother Winslow is Kelsey's rich paternal grandmother.
History[]
Prior to the series in her younger years, Grandmother Winslow was an athlete as she was into extreme sports, a trait which her granddaughter inherited. She became famous and later wealthy after winning many 1st Place trophies. It was revealed prior to "The Fifth Crystal," the Starlight Crystal was passed down to her from her mother and her mother before her.
During her appearance in "The Fifth Crystal", Carter is the only Ranger to know Kelsey hasn't spoken to her grandmother in years. This was because her preoccupation with wealth and indifference towards Kelsey is what drove the two apart. He was surprised to see her mansion for the first time, and that she is indeed very rich. Her stubborn and snobbish personality with wealth is what Kelsey knew since they didn't really have much in common. Grandmother Winslow was reluctant when Kelsey and the Rangers needed her Starlight Crystal to set a trap for Vypra. She agreed, but was disappointed when her crystal was gone. After Carter told her off of how she had everything from wealth and her mansion, but nothing in her heart, she went to rescue Kelsey herself, realizing the most precious thing in the world to her was her granddaughter.
In the end, she and Kelsey reconciled. At the end of the episode, Kelsey mentions to the Rangers she's going on a picnic. The Rangers are surprised that Grandmother Winslow, despite her old age, still has her athletic capability. She and Kelsey happily call the other four Rangers chicken since they weren't into extreme sports. Grandmother Winslow and her granddaughter race to the park. She is not seen afterwards.
