The Gormin Sailors (兵隊ゴーミン, Heitai Gōmin) are footsoldiers of Zangyack armed with weapons provided by Insarn. The Gormin are lead by Sugormin.

Characteristics

Gormin are silver humanoid grunts. Gormin normally operate in squads led by a trio of Sugormin. They mainly use their clubs to attack. Though they also use guns occasionally, and can also turn their clubs into rocket launchers which are capable of destroying cars. Tvicon TV STORY-The Worth of This Planet Aside from ground combat, Gormin are also the crew of Zangyack Battleships, where they also take part in recreational activites such as card games. History

The Gormin first appeared on Earth in the Great Legend War. There, hundreds of them, led by dozens of Sugormin, fought against the past 34 Super Sentai teams. The Sentai teams put up a good fight and the Zangyack forces took a hard beating, but the Sentai Great Army's leader, Akarenger, noticed the fleet moving towards them, he gathered all the Rangers together and gave them the order to sacrifice their powers to wipe out the first invasion's armada Tvicon TV STORY-The Space Pirates Appear.

When Hyuuga requested that Gai Ikari (GokaiSilver) give him the GokaiCellular, Gai envisioned him turning into GokaiSilver and defeating a group of Gormin Tvicon TV STORY-The Lost Forest. Basco ta Jolokia used a squad of Gormin, which were presumably provided by Damaras, to cause havoc across the city, in order to find Matsuri Tatsumi (GoPink) when she came to help so he could take the greater power of GoGo-V Tvicon TV STORY-People's Lives Are the Future of Earth.

Trivia

  • "Gormin" is a play on gomi, "trash" or "garbage", which is why the Gorenger Hurricane ball transforms into a garbage disposal truck when the Gokaigers use the technique on them in the first episode.
