This article is about a ranger and villain in Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger |
- For other incarnations of god in the Super Sentai continuity, see God.
This particular unnamed god (神様 Kami-sama) is the overarching antagonist of Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. He was the creator of countless parallel worlds and had manipulated the Kikaitopia Dynasty Tojitendo into sealing away all of them for his personal collection. He later manipulated the Zenkaigers into bringing down the Tojitendo due to himself seeing Kaito Goshikida's homeworld as a much more interesting place than Kikaitopia.
History[]
Past[]
A being of unknown origin who had existed since time immemorial, God was inspired by various concepts that would come into existence as the millennia passed. Those inspirations served as the basis of the wide variety of parallel worlds that he would constantly create throughout his lifetime. However, at a certain point, he soon realized that he had created more parallel worlds than he had initially intended and started to view the multiverse as a very crowded and messy place. Thus, he grew a desire to make the multiverse itself more organized. But as he himself only knew how to create parallel worlds and destroy them, he could not reorganize their structure according to his preferences. Furthermore, as he expressed a significant degree of reluctance towards the act of destroying any and all of the worlds due to having spent so much time and power in creating them, God had spent an unknown period of time struggling to think of a way to rectify the problem.
Eventually, God learned of the Kikaitopia Dynasty Tojitendo's Tojiru Gear technology which could trap and store away parallel worlds. Seeing the Gears as a way for him to reorganize the multiverse's structure without needing to actually destroy any of them, he possessed a giant robot crow as his vessel, becoming adopted by the leader of the Tojitendo, Great King Bokkowaus as his pet. Now named Gege, he would take advantage of Bokkowaus' favoritism and love for his host body. This, in turn, enabled him to secretly manipulate the Tojitendo and make them unwittingly take part in his plan.
As Gege[]
However, the last remaining parallel world to be sealed into a Tojiru Gear could not be properly contained due to utilizing Sentai Gear technology, the basis of the Tojiru Gears. Using Gege's body, God would convince Bokkowaus to carry out a proper invasion in order to conquer it. TV STORY-No. 1-kai! The World of Kikai is Kikikaikai!

When Kaito Goshikida accidentally swapped bodies with Stacy due to a mishap caused by Inverted World, Kaito snuck into the Tojitendo Palace so that he could save his mother and father, whom he had suspected were held captive somewhere inside the base, God as Gege identified Kaito inside Stacy's body and had then proceeded to out him in front of both Bokkowaus and Barashitara, who had failed to notice. As Kaito attempted to escape the place, God secretly helped him by giving him directions to the Tojitendo's Parallel World Gate so that he could use it to get back to his world. TV STORY-No. 32-kai! Taking over Stacy[]
After taking control of Stacy's body, God tries to fool the Zenkaigers and the World Pirates by pretending to be the real Stacy and asking them to destroy the Tojitendo for him in spite of his clearly different personality. When Kaito saw through his act, God stopped pretending to be Stacy and confirmed his intentions of destroying the Tojitendo albeit he had still kept quiet about his true identity. God figured out that the World Pirates were searching for the SD Tojiru Gear and, upon retaking control of Gege's body, requested Bokkowaus give it to him and unleash SD World. During the Zenkaigers' fight against Omikuji World, God used Gege's body to alter the settings of the Tojitendo's Parallel World Gate so that any Kikainoids who were not members of the Kikaitopia Dynasty Tojitendo would be transported to the Tojitendo Palace. He then used Stacy's body to forcefully transport a number of Kikainoids back to Kikaitopia.
When Great Omikuji World formed, ZenkaiOh JuraGaon and Super Zenkaizer had a tough time defeating it. Using Stacy's body, God extracted the Omikujitopia from its' Tojiru Gear which had, in turn, reverted the world back to normal. This had also caused Great Omikuji World to turn back into a plain Kudaitest as well as allowing the Zenkaigers to easily defeat it. God then crushed Omikujitopia with his bare hands. True Identity Revealed[]
Once the Zenkaigers found out about Stacy using such an unexpected ability, he revealed his true identity as a God who had created all of the parallel worlds in existence. He gave them three "prophecies" to prove that he was a god, predicting that Carrot World, Sapphire World, and Bat World would appear. He had also honored the Zenkaigers' request of relinquishing control of Stacy's body and possessing only the Zenkaigers when speaking to them.
To make these prophecies come true, God in Gege's body requested Bokkowaus give him the three Tojiru Gears in question which had soon, undoubtedly, made the Zenkaigers believe in his powers when the aforementioned Worlds appeared. In the meantime, God also possessed random civilians and continued transporting Kikainoids back to Kikaitopia. Once Great Bat World had been defeated, he had used Gaon's and Vroon's bodies to talk to the Zenkaigers, and earned their trust and support in defeating the Tojitendo. TV STORY-No. 46-kai! After the Zenkaigers said their goodbyes to both Yatsude Goshikida and Secchan in preparation for their final battle, God made his presence known again by possessing Magine's body and opening a portal that would transport them to the Tojitendo Palace. While the Zenkaigers stormed the palace to confront Bokkowaus, God continued sending Kikainoids back to Kikaitopia.
Then, when the World Pirates made their unexpected return to participate in the final battle, God possessed Flint Goldtsuiker so that he could make use of her engineering skills TV STORY-No. 47-kai! Enter The Palace! I'm Proud Even In Front of The Boss! as well as continuing to adjust the Parallel World Gate's settings. When the fight between the Zenkaigers and Secchan against Bokkowaus and Gege drew near, God helped out the former by leaving Flint's body and possessing Gege, revealing Bokkowaus' secret weak spot in his back to the Zenkaigers. Bokkowaus assumes that Gege is a traitor and smashes him to pieces, killing him. Despite the death of his longtime vessel, God continued to persist.
With the Zenkaigers' defeat of Bokkowaus, Izirude, and Barashitara, and thus the complete downfall of the Tojitendo Dynasty, Kikaitopia was freed and all of the Tojiru Gears destroyed, restoring the multiverse. However, as they were celebrating their well-deserved victory, God had finally decided to put his nefarious plan into action. He started by possessing Zocks Goldtsuiker just as the entire Goldtsuiker family and Stacy were going to warn the Zenkaigers of his suspicious nature. God as Zocks had managed to convince his siblings that they should return back to Kaizokutopia. Meanwhile, Isao successfully finds Mitsuko in Sushitopia and brings her home, with the implication that God had also possessed him to help him find her.
Endgame[]
After ensuring that there were no more loose ends to tie up and that all world inhabitants were back where they originally belonged, God proceeded to possess Kaito and take the now deactivated Secchan with him back to the Tojitendo Palace where the Tojiru Gear System was. Using the Parallel World Gate, he transported himself, Secchan, and the Tojiru Gear System itself back to Kaito's homeworld. He then activated the System, imprisoning all of the parallel worlds except Kaito's homeworld into Tojiru Gears once more. TV STORY-No. 48-kai! Sky Full of Stars, The Dynasty Collapses!
God then altered the memories of all of humanity so that they would not remember anything related to parallel worlds. However, as time passed, Kaito gradually regained all of his original memories, attracting God's attention since Kaito himself was the first person in the world to do it all on his own.
Confronting Kaito[]
After confirming that he had indeed altered everyone's memories, God revealed his true origins and motives behind helping both the Tojitendo and the Zenkaigers, as well as explaining why Kaito's homeworld and Kikaitopia had merged with each other in the first place. God remarked that he had never seen a world like Kaito's homeworld before and so had decided to spare it from the fate of being imprisoned into a Tojiru Gear, while also imposing such a horrific fate onto Kikaitopia due to his belief that Kaito's homeworld was more interesting than Kikaitopia.
Though he tries to convince him not be upset at this revelation, Kaito proclaimed the value and importance of the parallel worlds, including the fact that so many innocent and happy people were living in those worlds. God reasoned that every bad thing that had happened to both of Kaito's parents and his homeworld was done by the natives of the parallel worlds, but Kaito himself had refuted those claims.
Once it was made clear that Kaito would not be persuaded, God engaged him in a final showdown within Kaito's mind, with the prize being all of the Tojiru Gears. During the fight, God made use Kaito's powers as Zenkaizer followed by his powers as Super Zenkaizer. Even though both him and the real Zenkaizer were evenly matched at first, God would be taken aback by Zenkaizer transforming into all of his friends in quick succession (His teammates, Twokaizer and Stacaesar) as well as utilizing their respective skills and abilities, courtesy of Kaito's precious memories of them.
However, even with the memories of his beloved friends fueling him, Kaito and God were still evenly matched and unable to defeat each other. God raised the possibility of them fighting against each other inside Kaito's mind for all eternity, but Kaito decided on a simpler method: rock-paper-scissors. Whoever won would earn a decisive victory. Although confused at first towards Kaito placing the fate of all parallel worlds on such a simple game, the amused God took the challenge anyway.
Kaito ultimately wins the rock-paper-scissors game, and God concedes defeat while claiming that he lost because he did not actually find imprisoning all of the parallel worlds fun. Kaito persuades God to keep on making as many new parallel worlds as he desires as well as become a good God who takes care of all of their natives due to Kaito's belief that the natives of said parallel worlds would, indeed, make the multiverse a more fun and amusing place.
Abiding by his end of the bargain, God told Kaito where the Tojiru Gear System was located before he then parted ways on amicable terms. Kaito would destroy the system and, once again, free all of the trapped worlds and restore the multiverse to its rightful state. TV STORY-Last-kai! My World, Everyone's World
Personality[]
A highly manipulative, intelligent and cunning individual, God had no qualms in manipulating both his allies and enemies alike in order to achieve his goals. He had taken advantage of Bokkowaus' love and favoritism to him whenever he is possessing Gege so that he could easily throw off any suspicion that had been casted on him. He had forcefully taken control of Stacy's body and used it without giving him any say in the matter. In addition to that, even though he had abided by his promise of no longer controlling Stacy's body, he had still went behind the Zenkaigers' backs and possessed other people in order for him to achieve his nefarious plans.
During his final meeting with Kaito Goshikida, he had revealed the entirety of his true personality. He was a very creative being who would enjoy making as many parallel worlds as he likes but he is also a greatly apathetic being who had showed great indifference towards the consequences that would be inflicted on the people who act as the natives of the parallel worlds that he had created as a result of his actions.
One notable aspect of his personality would be how he would switch allegiances to people that he considers as amusing and interesting. For example, his treachery against the Tojitendo was motivated by his assumptions that Kaito's homeworld is a far more interesting place than Kikaitopia. In addition to that, Kaito himself had managed to take advantage of that particular personality trait by reasoning that creating more new parallel worlds and being a god who takes good care of the people who are the natives of said parallel worlds would make the multiverse a much more fun place for the god himself. Thus, this particular reasoning would serve as a critical factor to motivate the god to concede defeat and tell Kaito the secret location of the machine that he had used to imprison the aforementioned parallel worlds.

This particular trait has been carried over to when he had possessed Flint's body as well with the god himself being able to utilize her knowledge extensively in order to modify the Parallel World Gate as well as the Tojiru Gear system so that he could entrap all of the parallel worlds at once upon his command.
Weaknesses[]
- Limited World Intervention: As noted by the god himself, he can only create parallel worlds and destroy them but he cannot do anything else with the parallel worlds that he has created such as restructuring the multiverse in order to make it more organized which would motivate him to manipulate the Tojitendo so that he could utilize the Tojiru Gears as part of his nefarious plans.
- Complete Invisiblity: His true appearance is completely invisible to everyone and his voice cannot be heard by anyone. Thus, because of his unfortunate physiology, he has to resort to possessing chosen individuals as hosts in order for him to communicate with whoever he desires.
