Gigertox is a tentacle/mouth-themed Nighlok sent by Octoroo to cause enough fear to awaken Master Xandred and is the primary antagonist of the episode "The Great Duel", the second part of the five-part endgame. He is the final monster of Power Rangers Super Samurai and is overall the final monster of the entire Power Rangers Samurai series.
History[]
As one last chance to awaken Master Xandred, Octoroo gave up his second life to a powerful monster named Gigertox, which prevented him from enlarging into his Mega-Monster form.
At the city, Gigertox attacks a bunch of people but the Gold Ranger appears, morphs, and does battle with the monster. Gigertox was far too strong for the Gold Ranger to handle and he was knocked out of his Ranger form after getting a beating, but luckily, the Red, Blue, Pink, Green, and Yellow Rangers came into battle. The five Rangers morphed and did battle with Gigertox. All of them were outmatched, but the Red Ranger transforms into Super Samurai Mode, which was strong enough to take out Gigertox's tentacles, after that the Blue, Pink, Green and Yellow Rangers use the Spin Sword Quadruple Slash to attack the monster. With the Nighlok weakened, the Red Ranger used the Super Bullzooka Blast to destroy him, but the monster grew into a Mega-Monster.
The Rangers summon their FoldingZords to form the Battlewing Megazord to take on the Nighlok. Gigertox had the upper hand at first, but the Rangers were able to use the Mega Blade Flying Slash to take out Gigertox, but this only changed him into a new form: a serpent of dark mist which makes a beatdown on the Megazord. With only one option left, the Rangers combined all of the Zords into the Samurai Gigazord. The monster still put up a good fight, but the Rangers used the Symbol Power Mega Strike to ultimately destroy him for good. Though Gigertox failed, Octoroo's plan didn't, as Master Xandred did resurrect sooner from Gigertox's lengthy efforts.

- Power: Being powered up by Octoroo, as well as being the last monster of Power Rangers Samurai, Gigertox is one of the strongest Nighloks the Samurai Power Rangers have fought.
- Stinky Mist Breath: Gigertox can spew out a gust of stinky mist from his mouth.
- Laser Barrage: Gigertox can release a barrage of blue energy lasers from either his left spiky side or hand.
- Life Force Empowerment: Having received half of Octoroo's life force, Gigertox can draw power from it to increase his strength.
- Enlarging: He can enlarge himself at will like all Nighloks.
- Snake Form: Due to receiving half of Octoroo's life force, Gigertox can assume a snake-like form if he is destroyed as a giant.

- Strength: Being the last monster in Power Rangers Samurai, Gigertox possesses raw strength, being able to lift up people with no issues as well as being able to slam the Gold Ranger into a building with ease.
- Expert Fighter: Not only does Gigertox possesses high strength, he's also an expert fighter, being able to overpower five of the Samurai Rangers with ease.

- Clawed Left Hand: Gigertox possesses a large clawed left hand which he can use in combat.
- Tentacles: Gigertox can launch a supply of tentacles from his hand to wrap his enemies with.
- Fire Empowerment: Gigertox can also empower his left arm with light orange flames and thrust his arm in full force.
- Nighlok Sword: When enlarged, Gigertox possesses a large sword for an aid in combat.

- Overwhelming Force: Gingertox's snake form could not stand up to overwhelming force, with the Rangers using the Samurai Gigazord's Symbol Power Mega Strike to destroy him after everything else had failed.

Etymology[]
- The "Giger" in his name could be a corruption of "Geiger" from a Geiger counter, a device which measures radiation, referencing his powers. The suffix "Tox" in the name likely refers to "toxic" or "poisonous," which aligns with Gigertox's ability to spew out a stinky mist.
- It's also possible his name could be a reference to H.R. Giger, a Swiss artist known for his biomechanical and grotesque art style, which might be reflected in Gigertox's design.

- The tentacles that Gigertox fires looks very similar to the vines from Flytrap, a flytrap/leech-like monster from Power Rangers Mystic Force.
- Gigertox is the final Nighlok to appear in Power Rangers Super Samurai, and is overall the final monster of the Power Rangers Samurai series.
