"Evil, disperse!"

The Gaorangers were a Sentai team chosen by Gao Priestess Tetomu and the Power Animals to protect the Earth from the polluting forces of the Ogre Tribe Org.

History

Past

The origins of the Gaorangers go back 1000 years when the Org Tribe first emerged and started a war with the Animarium and its people. The war was a stalemate until many Highness Duke Orgs join together into a single form to get the edge in the war. The newly created Ultimate Org Hyakkimaru takes complete command over the Org Tribe and they gain the upper-hand in the war. The war eventually culminates in a climactic show-down between giant sized Hyakkimaru and GaoGod, creator and God of the Power Animals. Despite this, Hyakkimaru easily slays GaoGod with one hit so Shirogane uses the power of the Dark Mask to become more powerful. With it, his Power Animals gain the ability to fuse into GaoHunter which is able to kill Hyakkimaru with its Beast Tempest attack; ending the first war against the Org Tribe. Despite the death of Ultimate Org Hyakkimaru, Tsukimaro's use of the Dark Mask to defeat him leads to his corruption and transformation into Duke Org Rouki who is then sealed away. In 2001, the Org Tribe reemerge so Tetomu reawakens from stasis and begins forming the Gaorangers to combat them. The first recruited is Japanese Self Defence Force pilot Gaku Washio who becomes GaoYellow. The first org to awaken is Bike Org who Gaku is unable to defeat without a team so the Org is simply sealed away. Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 20: The Maiden is Captured!!

Over the next few months, Tetomu gathers more people to become Gaorangers; handyman Kai Samezu, retired sumo wrestler Sotaro Ushigome, and martial arts student Sae Taiga with Gaku serving as leader. After Turbine Org awakens, he is pursued by the Gaorangers until he is aided by Plugma Org which enables them to overwhelm the heroes and escape. Realizing that they need their fifth and final member, Tetomu recruits vetenary student Kakeru Shishi as GaoRed who takes the leadership position from Gaku. When Turbine and Plugma Org attack a dam the next day, the Gaorangers ) arrive and overwhelm the two Orgs. They regain the upper-hand but Plugma Org is killed by the Evil-Crushing Hundred-Beast Sword and Turbine Org has to escape. Fleeing to the other side of the dam, Turbine Org receives aid from Duke Orgs TsueTsue and Yabaiba by being enlarged by the former's staff. Although initially amazed, the Gaorangers quickly summon their Power Animals which take on and Turbine Org. The monster is no match and is quickly destroyed by their Animal Hearts attack. Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 01: The Lion, Roars!!

Shortly after Highness Duke Org Shuten is killed by Highness Duke Org Ura, the latter uses his Thousand-Year Evil to reawaken Rouki. After his revival, he attacks the Gaorangers and manages to seal away GaoElephant. Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 15: The Org Howls!!

Despite being an enemy of the Gaorangers, Rouki heals Sae when she is injured by TsueTsue. Later battling the Gaorangers, he summons his Power Animals and manages to gain the upper hand before leaving since he has made his point. Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 16: The Magic Flute Roars!!

Rouki appears after Bus Org is defeated and summons his Power Animals and combined them into GaoHunter Evil. Defeating GaoKing, he seals away GaoGiraffe in the aftermath of the fight. Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 17: The Elephant Vanishes...

Employing Clock Org in his battles, he has him send the Gaorangers back in time while he duels Kakeru alone. Clock Org is later defeated but is revived as a giant by Rouki. After Clock Org is destroyed, Rouki summons GaoElephant and GaoGiraffe, combining with GaoGiraffe into GaoHunter Evil Spear. As Rouki defeats the Gaorangers, they are saved by their Power Animals and Rouki retreats for the time being. Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 18: The Demon Beast Armament!!

Rouki later oversees the battle between Bike Org and Gaku, keeping the other Gaorangers at bay as they duel. During the fight, Tetomu defends the Gaorangers, and he begins questioning her on her grandmother, Gao Priestess Murasaki. After Bike Org is destroyed, he grows the Org and joins the fight against GaoMuscle in GaoHunter. Whilst Bike Org is defeated, he manages to defeat GaoMuscle. As he tries to take Tetomu with him, Gaku defends but is defeated with GaoBear and GaoPolar sealed as a result. Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 20: The Maiden is Captured!!

Rouki interrupts the battle between the Gaorangers and Human Body Specimen Org as the pup that he befriended is caught in the crossfire. Enraged, he attacks the Org and chases the pup away by reasoning he would have been hurt if it had stayed. He later battles GaoKing, when a vision of GaoGod appears pleading him to remember. Confused, he is defeated by GaoKing.Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 21: Rouki, Perplexed

When the Gaorangers battle Lawnmower Org, Rouki appears but instead he slashes the Org. In the confusion, the Gaorangers destroy Lawnmower Org and question Rouki, but he leaves without answering. Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 22: The Giant Bull is Broken!!

Under Ura's control, Rouki surrenders the Gao Jewels that he took from the Gaorangers. He battles the Gaorangers but. during the fight, the full moon fades and he reverts back to human form. Tsukimaro manages to explain the ritual he used to become Rouki before the moon comes back and reverts him into an Org. Rouki and the Gaorangers continue their battle in their mechas, where Tetomu realizes the Evil Spirits are concentrated in GaoLigator and defeating GaoHunter will finally free Tsukimaro. With the help of the new GaoRhinos and GaoMadillo, GaoKing Striker manages to free Tsukimaro from Rouki and destroy the mask. Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 23: Rouki Dies!?

With the mask destroyed, Rouki's spirit is freed and made into a separate entity from Tsukimaro. He later attacks Tsukimaro but, as he is about to strike down GaoSilver, the rest of the Gaorangers rescue him. Rouki is later sealed back into a mask and taken by TsueTsue and Yabaiba. Rouki reappears and attacks GaoSilver yet again but is finally defeated once and for all by GaoHunter's Revolver Phantom after his horn is severed by a pool technique utilizing GaoMadillo and the mask destroyed in the process. Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 26: Rouki Returns

Learning of the "Last Org Advent" prophecy, the Gaorangers track the Org's base down to the Ogre Cave Matrix where Tsukimaro is able to seal the Org Master away to prevent more Org spirits from being unleashed. Before it is sealed, Rasetsu, Ura and Shuten to defend the Matrix but they are destroyed. Even so, TsueTsue is able to use the Org Heart to fuse their remains into the most powerful Org of all: Ultimate Org Senki. Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 49: The Matrix Closes

Upon his creation, after realizing that the Gaorangers are his true enemies and not the Duke Orgs, Senki defeats the Hyakujuuken with his All-Carnage Ogre Blade before he absorbs all remaining Org spirits to grow giant before revealing his ultimate goal; drain the Earth's life-force and infect it with the Org Tribe's own to remake the planet as their own. Determined to stop him, GaoGod deploys against Senki and is soon joined by GaoHunter since Tsukimaro doesn't want to abandon his friend like before. Despite being outnumbered, Senki destroys GaoHunter and kills GaoGod which causes Tsukimaro's G-Brace Phone to disintegrate. Although Gao Priestess Tetomu and the other Gaorangers rescue them with Gao Rock, Senki follows it back to the Animarium. Once there, he destroys all but the original five Power Animals which then form into GaoKing and then finishes GaoKing off. Doing so destroys the other G-Phones and he brings down the Animarium before he attacks Tokyo. Tvicon TV STORY-Quest 50: The Hundred Beasts Die

Since the Gaoranger witnessed him reform after failing to destroy him with GaoMuscle Striker, they realize that the Org Heart is his weakness and have to destroy it in order to kill Senki forever. Though Tetomu gives them an ancient sword to destroy Senki's heart, it is not enough and they are easily overwhelmed despite defeating the last few Orgettes. When all seems lost, the Rangers declare their humanity to Senki at which point the Power Animals are all revived and countless others arrive to help. Thier arrival morphs the Gaorangers who do thier roll call and, as Senki gawks at the previously destroyed Power Animals, they confront him for his actions. They then combine thier powers with the Power Animals for the Hundred Beast Animal Heart, instantly obliterating Senki's physical form and exposing the Org Heart. Before it can revive Senki, the Gaorangers fuse use their weapons into the Hyakujuuken and destroy the Org heart, killing Senki as well as all remaining Orgs once and for all.

With the Orgs gone forever, the Gaorangers disband and Tetomu reenters hibernation on the Moon. Kakeru finishes his degree and becomes a vet, Gaku returns to the Special Defense Forces, Kai becomes a shop chef, Sotaro takes up work at a ranch, Sae continues her martial arts training and Tsukimaro goes on a world tour. Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger

A year after the defeat of the Orgs, TsueTsue and Yabaiba (assumed deceased in the collapse of the Org Matrix) re-emerge and join forces with the Space Ninja Group Jakanja to get revenge. Upon learning of the Gaorangers' powers, Boss Tau Zant sends his Spears to get the G-Phones and get powers to slay the Hurricanegers. They steal the G-Phones but they are later reclaimed so the Gaorangers team-up with the Hurricanegers and Gouraigers to defeat the Orgs once and for all and they are able to slay TsueTsue and Yabaiba with the Hyakujuuken. After Chubouzu grows giant, the Gaorangers send GaoKing and GaoHunter to fight him but are overwhelmed until they combine their Power Animals with Gourai Senpuujin to form Tenkuu Gourai Senpuujin. After the defeat of the last Org remnants, the Gaorangers once again give up thier powers and return to thier normal lives. Tvicon TV STORY-Ninpu Sentai Hurricaneger vs. Gaoranger

Gokaiger

Ten years later, the Space Empire Zangyack invade Earth. This threat is so great that all of the first 34 Super Sentai, including the Gaorangers, are needed to oppose them. The 34 Sentai put up a valiant fight against the ground forces but, when the Zangyack fleet itself attacks them, Akarenger tells everyone to combine their powers and save the Earth. This destroys the Zangyack fleet and results in the loss of their powers which resurface as Ranger Keys that are dispersed throughout the universe. Tvicon TV STORY-Gokaiger Goseiger Super Sentai 199 Hero Great Battle

The keys are collected by AkaRed and are later utilized by the 35th Super Sentai, the Gokaigers, a group of five people from different planets who come to Earth in search of the Greatest Treasure in the Universe. Tvicon TV STORY-Ep. 1: The Space Pirates Appear

The Gokaigers arrive on the Animarium where they engage Zangyack forces led by Action Commander Bowser in battle. The conflict attracts the attention of GaoLion who proceeds to knock everyone off the island. When the Gokaigers are about to get back up to the Animarium, they are warned by Kakeru not to go and Captain Marvelous refuses to take heed. Ahim de Famille is wounded and Kakeru tends to her wounds in his office. The veterinarian reveals himself as GaoRed with Don pleading for his help with the vet explaining that only GaoLion can unleash the Gaoranger Keys' power. At this time, they are told that their crew-mates are fighting Bowser and the Gormin Sailors. Kakeru watches the Gokaigers' fight and is astonished by the Gokaigers' saving people in their own way before they use the Gaoranger Keys to defeat the Sugormin with the Hyakujuuken before finishing Bowser with the Gokai Blast. When Bowser and the Sugormin are enlarged, GokaiOh's wheel on it's back is disabled which prevent any of the keys from working. However, GaoLion's acceptance enables them to summon him from Animarium with the Gaoranger Keys as he and Gokaioh combine into Gao GokaiOh to take out the Sugormin before destroying Bowser. As Kakeru walks off, the pirates thank their new ally as they sail off. Tvicon TV STORY-Ep. 9: Lion, Run

After the Gokaigers finally defeat Zangyack, they return the Ranger Keys before they leave Earth to find the second Greatest Treasure in the Universe. It is presumed that the Gaorangers have their powers back. Tvicon TV STORY-Final Ep.: Farewell Space Pirates
