Zashiki-warashi (ザシキワラシ 18)
Zashiki Warashi's Human Form
A Yokai child who refused to harm humans, and was pursued by Junior as a result. While posing a young boy with enchanted mushrooms, he befriended several children and eventually Jiraiya.
When Gasha Skull overpowered NinjaBlack, Zashiki-warashi turned himself in to save Jiraiya. Using the storm, Junior turned Zashikiwarashi into a giant demonic parody of himself and sent him to destroy the city. After a brief battle with the Juushou Fighters, it took the children he befriended to give Zashiki-warashi the power to come back to his senses and thus returned to normal.
But Junior soon mortally wounded Zashiki-warashi for betraying the Yokai Gundan, with the young Yokai surrounded by his new friends before he died and turned into a toadstool.

- Gauntlet Gun: Zashiki-Warashi's evil form wore a gauntlet on his left hand that was equipped with a gun.
- Joystick Shoes: Zashiki-Warashi's evil form wore a pair of shoes that possessed joysticks at the top that when pushed forward allows him to jump high.

- Zashiki-warashi's human form is portrayed by Kazuyuki Makino. In his true Yokai form, he is voiced by Sumiyo Sawada.
Design[]
- Zashiki-Warashi is a modernization of a Japanese mythological creature. The classical Zashiki-Warashi are spirit-like beings that live in parlors or store rooms that love to pull pranks and would bring fortune to families and anyone that see it, and here is a child-like creature that had some semblance to the classical description but his evil form is based on children's toys namely a baseball and an early style game station controller.
