Starchild Props is a small costume and prop making company based in Italy. The company specializes in replicating props, costumes and cosplay items from the Super Sentai and Power Rangers franchises.
This gained notoriety to the point that Boom! Studios and Hasbro has employed them to promote new Rangers in the comic book series at comic conventions and trade shows. One such example was the unveiling of the Omega Rangers with replicas of the Ranger helmets and promo images of a full Omega Red Ranger suit at SDCC 2019.[1][2]
Due to the 2019-2020 coronavirus crisis cancelling WonderCon, the studio had to shelve their helmet replicas of the Ninja Turtle Rangers and Shredder Green Ranger which were to be displayed at the Boom! Studios booth to promote the MMPR/TMNT comic mini-series.[3] The company has stated they would display them at a convention later in the year, but due to the cancellation of all conventions worldwide in 2020 and 2021, this never happened. The company fully resumed operations in 2023, producing new products for the cosplay community.
