These are the list of pranks played on April Fools' Day regarding the Super Sentai Series and Power Rangers.

For 2011, the fake Mauve Ranger, who will fight evil Nighloks using the element of wildflowers and the Jellyfish Zord, was promoted as joining the Power Rangers Samurai on Power Rangers Facebook.

For 2012, Morphume, a fake perfume based off the six Samurai Rangers, was promoted on powerrangers.com

Saban's megaphone

For 2013, Saban's megaphone, a mobile phone based on the Gosei Morpher from Power Rangers Megaforce, was promoted on powerrangers.com

SPD Black

SPD Black

Tokunation revealed an "SPD Black Ranger" as part of a "Legacy Bandai collectors set", when in actuality it was part of a Chinese knock off toy set sold in dollar stores.

Power Rangers Energy Chasers

For April Fools Day 2014, it was announced Go-Busters was going to be adapted in 2015 as Power Rangers Energy Chasers, and was going to air on the Saban Brands owned Vortexx block. If this were true, the show would've ended up without a home, as Vortexx ended in September 2014. Though years later Go-Busters was adapted into Power Rangers Beast Morphers

For April Fools Day 2017, it was announced Kyuranger was going to be adapted in April 2018 as Power Rangers Nine Force, and was going to air on the Nickelodeon. Though years later Kyuranger's zords would be adapted into Power Rangers Cosmic Fury

Power Rangers and Transformers

Tokusatsu Network revealed that due to the partnership between Hasbro and Takara Tomy and the recent acquisition of Power Rangers to Hasbro's toy licenses, Power Rangers and Transformers would combine in the form of Power Ranger themed Transformers. This was proven to be fake due to the low quality fanart drawings of the "toys".

Power Rangers Super Megaforce: Gosei's Treasure

Pwrrngr.com revealed for 2022 that on National Power Ranger Day, which is August 28th, an anniversary special for Super Megaforce called Gosei's Treasure would be released. A teased clip on Twitter even showed footage that it would be adapted from Kaizoku Sentai: Ten Gokaiger.[Citation needed]

Power Rangers Digital Dynasty

Also for April Fools in 2022, it was announced Donbrothers was going to be adapted in 2023 as Power Rangers Digital Dynasty, as the 30th season of the franchise.

In 2018, a trailer was released for the new series Super Sentai Villains, featuring Mele (Yuka Hirata), Juzo Fuwa (Mitsuru Karahashi), Basco ta Jolokia (Kei Hosogai), Escape (Ayame Misaki). As it turned out, they were actually guest starring in the movie Uchu Sentai Kyuranger vs. Space Squad.

Ohkuwagata Ohger's identity

In 2023, the official King-Ohger Twitter account "revealed" the identity of Ohkuwagata Ohger as both Douga and Boshimar.

First Love Detective

In an April Fools' joke for 2024, the official Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club X account announced TTFC's first ever romance drama, "First Love Detective" (初恋刑事, Hatsukoi Keiji), starring Ayumi Kinoshita and Aoto Watanabe as both Marika Reimon of the Dekarangers and Yanma Gast of the King-Ohgers, respectively. The actual upcoming special was later revealed to be Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger with Tombo Ohger the next day, with both actors set to reprise their roles alongside others.
