Super Big Pose Series

This article is about a collection of toys featuring elements in the Super Sentai and Power Rangers franchises.

The Super Big Pose Series also known as the Deluxe Power Rangers or 8-inch figures are a line that started with Super Sentai but was later abandoned. When Mighty Morphin Power Rangers was put together, the sculpts were developed with the team look and became one of the most iconic Power Ranger figure sets.

The iconic cardback images of the core rangers

• All five core Rangers were released in this style. There was no Zyuranger or Dairanger release. All Rangers were released with Power Coin symbols printed on their chests.
• The season 1 box (triangular) later became an iconic design for Power Rangers boxes and would be repeated with some of the Action Hero line.
• Green Ranger and White Ranger were initially released with their DX Zords. The Green Ranger figure features a new Dragon Coin design featuring an actual dragon rather than the original Dragon Claw design, and includes a Blade Blaster instead of a Dragon Dagger. The White Ranger figure features no Power Coin print. Prototype photos of the figure featured a new molded belt piece featuring the Dairanger belt buckle, but the final product instead featured the same red plastic gem as the original figures, and included Saba.
• For season 2 all five core Rangers were released with Karate action, which replaced either an arm or a leg with a spring-strung limb.
• For season 3 all five core Rangers were released with special sound features.
• For season 3 Green and White Rangers were repackaged as 'Gold Team', and later for 'Power Playback' released individually.
• For the movie, metallic versions of all five Core Rangers and the White Ranger were released.

• All six Rangers were released. There was no Ohranger release.

Turbo/Carranger

• All five core Rangers were released for Carranger.
• All five Core Rangers, Phantom Ranger and Blue Senturion were released for Turbo. The sculpts were modified with musculature and new knee joints.

• All five core Rangers were released with removable armor and new weapons along with their original weapons.
• A metallic Silver Ranger figure was released along with the MegaWinger, which featured belt-activated voice clips. The figure was later re-released under the Lost Galaxy line along with the Digimorpher toy.
