Fang was a gooney bird egg-obsessed monster created by Finster on Rita Repulsa's birthday. He serves as the main antagonist of the episode "The Yolk's on You!".

Biography

Fang was created by Finster on Rita's birthday. Fang was unique monster. During the banquet, he saved some gooney bird eggs on the table. Then Rita sent him to Earth to Angel Grove with Goldar, Squatt and Baboo. Fang found some gooney bird eggs there. Squatt and Baboo ate the gooney bird eggs, Fang found that they had been eaten, causing this apparently non-evil monster to become insane and be easily manipulated by other Evil Space Aliens, though he had no idea who ate them. Goldar told Fang that Power Rangers stole his eggs and Fang believed him. Then Rangers appeared and Fang fought them. Fang was winning but he left. Rita personally arrived to Earth and promised Fang an endless supply of gooney bird eggs, but only if he can defeat the Rangers first. Fang complied with this ultimatum, having been convinced by Goldar that the Rangers had stolen his previous batch of eggs. Fang attacked city and battled rangers. After fight on the ground, Rita enlarged him. Jason tried to reason with Fang by explaining to him that they are unaware of any eggs and that they have taken nothing from him, but Fang refused to listen. After Fang mercilessly clobbered the Megazord and the Dragonzord, and then the Dragonzord Battle Mode and Tyrannosaurus, the Rangers are left with no other choice but to destroy Fang with the Ultrazord, by turning him into the energy cyclon.

Personality

Fang was unique monster. He wasn't truly evil, but just mentally unstable and was manipulated by Rita and other Evil Space Aliens. He was obsessedwith gooney bird eggs and wanted more of them. When Jason tried to reason with him, Fang refused to listen. So rangers had no other choice, but to destroy Fang and put him out of his misery. It is possible that after his death, Fang's soul will relax in Heavens.

Powers And Abilities

• Superhuman Strength-Fang is an immensely powerful monster, sending rocks rolling down a hill with a single punch and knocking down Jason with a single punch as well as throw boulders like they are nothing. When giant, he was able to catch the Dragonzord Battle Mode's Power Staff between his hands.
• Superhuman Durability-Fang has absurdly thick fish scale like skin, allowing him to shrug off a stab to the chest from Jason's Blade Blaster in sword mode and, when giant, he was slashed down by the Tyrannosaurs Dinozord but immediately recovered.
• Energy Blasts-Fang could unleash blue lightning from the horns on the back of his head when giant that were powerful enough to the make the Dragonzord Battle Mode and Tyrannosaurs cringe.
• Body Enhancement-When made giant, Fang was able to extend his gauntlet claws and his horns which made him more powerful by extension.

Arsenal

• Claws-Fang has razor sharp claws that can cleave down Rangers with single hits.
• Gauntlet Blades-Fang has a gauntlet on either wrist that has extendable blades for extra effectiveness in combat.

Portrayal

• Fang is voiced by Michael Sorich who also voices Squatt .
  • This makes Squatt eating Fang's eggs very ironic.

Notes

• Fang was unique monster. He wasn't actually evil, but just manipulated by Rita and forced to fight the rangers. So it is possible that after his death, he will relax in Heavens.
