Eyescar is an eye/tentacle/Dorotabou-themed Nighlok found by Octoroo and ordered to destroy the Samurai Rangers. He appears as the primary antagonist of the episode "The Rescue".
History[]
According to Octoroo, Eyescar came from the darkest parts of the Sanzu River and stood the best chance of destroying the Samurai Rangers.
He is sent to the human world to kidnap Antonio and Mentor Ji in order to lure the Rangers into a trap on the bottom of a cliff with only one entrance and annihilate them with his army of Moogers.
His plan to ambush and destroy the Rangers failed when Jayden used the Samurai Battlewing on his own against a majority of the Moogers, destroying nearly all of them. The Rangers then thinned out the numbers of the remaining Moogers and freed Antonio and Ji. After most of his Moogers were destroyed, he took on Antonio before Jayden transformed into Shark Attack Mode and himself, who destroyed him by knocking him into the air and then unleashing a devastating slash across his torso.
He then grew into a Mega-Monster and took on the Samurai Megazord and Claw Battlezord. Eyescar easily overpowered them and restrained Claw Battlezord West using his spear. The Rangers used the new SharkZord to battle him, with the Zord biting him on the bum to force him to release Antonio. They then combined into the Samurai Shark Megazord and Eyescar was ultimately destroyed by the Samurai Shark Megazord's Sharkzord Slash and the Claw Battlezord South's Double Katana Strike.

Eyescar was a cold, cunning and destructive and won't stop to destroy the Samurai Rangers. He is also arrogant, which led to his defeat. But he is also loyal to Octoroo.

- Sludge Breath: Eyescar can spit purple, toxic sludge from his mouth which can cause large explosions on impact.
- Reviving and Enlarging: Eyescar can revive and enlarge himself at will.

- Durability: Eyescar was sent flying by a blast from the Samurai Battlewing but was completely unhurt.
- Mooger Summoning: Eyescar can summon a literal army of purple Moogers to aid him in battle.
- Trickery: Eyescar is very sneaky and can sneak up and capture people with no one else noticing.

- In Shinkenger, Eyescar was the last surviving commander of the Kusare Gedoshu (the counterpart to General Gut's forces which were originally a sealed army of the Gedoshu). He was found by Shitari/Octoroo who was surprised to find that he lived since Manpuku/General Gut was thought to have been the only survivor of that group.
- This is both why he commanded the same purple Moogers Gut did and why the Rangers needed the Sharkzord to kill him.
