Transformation Brace Lost (変身
Synopsis[]
After defeating a Bowzock racer, Minoru loses his Accel Changer just as the defeated opponent's little brother has targeted him for revenge.
Plot[]
At a green grocer, a shop owner is having his truck looked at by Minoru, who states that things aren't looking so good, suggesting that he turns the propulsion of the vehicle to a rocket engine. However, the two soon hear the notice as a Gorotsuki named YY Bingo, Bowzock's fastest street Racer, rampages through the city challenging the Carranger to a race. Minoru discovers the rampage and hides to transform into Green Racer; while YY Bingo sees no Carranger showed up and believing they chickened out due to being "the fastest Bowzock". However, as he boasts his skills, Green Racer arrives with his Speeder Machine, leading to the two to start racing each other through the streets. YY Bingo challenges Minoru to a race as they drive down the street, pushing the speed of their cars until Green Racer pulls ahead, forcing the Gorotsuki to fire shots to display his "reckless driving" that the Bowzock are known for. Angered, Minoru speeds his Speeder Machine, trying to avoid YY Bingo's rough play as they continue racing until they hit a dead end; Green Racer avoids the roadblocks, but YY Bingo tries to avoid them only to fail due to the size of his car, slamming into them making his car explode. YY Bingo crawls out of the wreckage as Minoru states that justice will prevail and the Gorotsuki explodes, making Green Racer feel excited and decide to practice his victory pose to the point that he unknowingly throws his Accel Changer off his wrist into the grass and leave the site abandoning it.
At the Bowzock satellite, Zonnette rushes in crying to Gynamo that the ghost of YY Bingo is there; Gynamo laughs it off until he sees a similar-looking Gorotsuki shocking him. Zelmoda reveals that it isn't a ghost but YY Gonza, YY Bingo's younger brother, making Gynamo yell at them for not telling him sooner as the Gorotsuki asks to go to Earth to avenge his brother which the Bowzock leader agrees to as he enters into his own car and Grotch gives him Imocho imo youkan; but YY Gonza states he doesn't need it since he's now Bowzock's fastest Racer with the death of his brother, making the inventor faint. As he travels to Earth, YY Gonza places flowers at the site of the grave of his older brother, swearing vengeance against Green Racer for his death. However, as he leaves, he steps on Minoru's missing Accel Changer, putting on himself saying it suits him.
Back at the grocer, Minoru shows off his new idea of the grocer's truck with a rocket engine, attempting to get the cost figured out. However, YY Gonza soon drives back as both the grocer and Minoru show shock thinking that YY Bingo once again. Minoru assures the grocer that Green Racer will defeat him again as he rushes off to transform, only to discover the missing Accel Brace, not knowing where it is and rushing around to search for it. He returns to Pegasus Garage as the other Carranger rush to face YY Gonza with Minoru revealing his missing Accel Brace, shocking Kyosuke as Minoru states he looked everywhere. Dappu states that they should focus on defeating the Bowzock as Minoru pleads with the alien to make another Accel Brace for him with Carmagic Power, but the alien slaps him in frustration.
YY Gonza continues to rampage as the Carranger push people out the way of his rampage and tell them to run off. The Gorotsuki asks for Green Racer and Naoki tries to reveal what happened but Yoko stops him stating there's no need to tell him the truth. YY Gonza fires lightning from his car as he pushes the Carranger around with his driving skills.
At Pegasus Garage, Dappu reveals that the Accel Braces are one-of-a-kind; given to the warriors of the legendary constellations of Planet Hazard and their Carmagic Power lets them change into Carranger to begin with; thus without the Accel Brace, Minoru can't become Green Racer anymore. Minoru shows denial at Dappu's revelation and tries to ask if it's not true but the alien nods his head, making him realize what he's done and Dappu's medallion shines all colors but Green, showing the lost power. Minoru collapses admitting that he lost something this important by trying to act cool and states he isn't qualified to be a Carranger. Wiping away his tears, Minoru admits what he did was unforgivable and that he will take full responsibility for his actions.
In the city, YY Gonza hits the other Carrangers continuing to ask for Green Racer to get revenge for his brother YY Bingo, but Minoru soon charges out telling the Gorotsuki to go back to his planet! When YY Gonza asks who he is, he introduces himself as "Ordinary Citizen Minoru Uesugi" as the Carranger state he's not anyone important and Minoru yells at them to let him fight. He states he lost his Accel Brace and can't fight as a Carranger anymore and he has to fight as an ordinary citizen. Kyosuke tries to stop Minoru but he stares at him with intent, the other Carranger realizing that he has to do this as Red Racer finally relents to do it. Rushing forth with a wrench, he hits YY Gonza but the Gorotsuki hits him and strangles him while wondering if an ordinary human can defeat Bowzock's Fastest Racer before kicking him to the ground. Minoru staggers up asking if that's all he has before charging and continues to be pushed and beaten up; the other Carranger try to help but Dappu states they shouldn't intervene as Minoru is testing his abilities as a warrior. The Gorotsuki continues to beat and hit on Minoru as he bleeds while Dappu states he's wondering if he's qualified to keep fighting with the rest of them as he takes every brutal blow that the Gortosuki throws at him. Kyosuke admits even if Minoru can't become Green Racer anymore, he is an admirable member of the Carranger team before he's finally tossed into nearby rubbish.
As Minoru falls, the other Carranger charge in and fight YY Gonza themselves, bashing him even as they take his electric attack and fire their Auto Blasters at him. The Gorotsuki turns into mist and blows away from them back to his car, forcing the Carrranger to fire the Auto Punisher at him, but Zelmoda and Grotch arrive, the general firing against the Rangers as Grotch gives YY Gonza Imocho imo youkan which he finally takes and turns into a giant in the process. As he grows, Minoru's Accel Changer onto a nearby set of stairs while the Gorotsuki starts rampaging against the Carranger; Minoru gets up and struggles with his pain to crawl towards the threat even with YY Gonza's rampage, making the Accel Changer fall to the ground and Minoru rush towards it with excitement. With new determination, Minoru changes into Green Racer; appearing before YY Gonza to stop his rampage against the Carranger and challenges him to a battle as he enters his Speeder Machine, racing away with the giant in pursuit and firing his electric attack towards him as the other Carranger rush away. Seeing an opening, Minoru charges his Speeder Machine towards him firing the Speeder Missile while avoiding being stomped on and having the missile hit after he avoids the attack, stating it was exhilarating. As he rejoins the Carranger, the team forms into RV Robo where they take headbutts forcing them to use the Radial Shield to block it. As Red Racer tells Green Racer to take revenge, Minoru steps on his foot until using the 'RV Naniwa Kick" to smash him down long enough to use RV Sword's Gekisou Cut to finish YY Gonza off.
After the battle, the other Carranger treat Minoru of his injuries as he complains as Dappu gives him a thumbs up for his means, stating that all the Carrangers have grown from the experience. Minoru states all has ended well making his Accel Change fall off and grabbed by Kyosuke who decides to throw it around to the other Carranger, making Dappu worry if that's really what happened.
