Clash!! A Super Giant Battle (激突！！超巨大戦 Gekitotsu!! Chō Kyodai Sen) is the eighth episode of Choriki Sentai Ohranger.
This is the final Ohranger episode written and produced prior to the change in format from the next episode in response to the Aum Shinrikyo attack on the Tokyo subway on March 20, 1995.
Synopsis[]
In order to deal with the threat of Ohranger Robo, Bacchus Wrath brings in a powerful Machine Beast and upgrades Acha and Kocha to be able to create a greater challenge to the U.A.O.H. forces.
Plot[]
A large Baranoia force suddenly descends from the moon to Earth, putting all of UAOH on red alert and forcing the Ohranger to confront them with the Choriki Mobiles as they leave their headquarters. The saucers quickly destroy cities throughout Japan as Bacchus Wrath comes down to destroy Tokyo personally; but Kocha notices the Ohranger arriving, alerting Acha and surprising the emperor. Declaring that Baranoia will pay, the team use their Storage Crystals to immediately form into Ohranger Robo. Seeing the Ohranger, Bacchus Wrath tells the forces to attack and concentrate on the mecha as an army of Takonpas flies out to attack the giant robot yet with it using the Super Crown Sword to knock them out of the sky. Blinded briefly, Gorou declares the robots will not take Earth as they use the Super Crown Sword to destroy Bacchus Wrath's saucer; Acha yells they can't win now but the emperor declares a continued attack despite Acha deciding on a retreat regardless and forcing them to head back to the Moon base. The Ohranger see the retreat and believe they've won.
On the Moon, Hysteria and Buldont take offense at the emperor running away and the fears that Earth will be the first planet to repel their invasion. Acha realizes that as long as the Ohranger have Ohranger Robo, they can do nothing; as Kocha adds in. However, Bacchus Wrath silences everyone, stating "failure is not in his dictionary" and that he will summon his forces from planet Daurora tucked away to fight back, making Hysteria fearful. On Daurora, a Machine Beast known as Bara Missiler is summoned, emerging from a crevice within the planet.
Back on Earth, Juri and Momo decide to enjoy their first quiet day in a while by taking a drive; Momo states that with Ohranger Robo finished, Baranoia will have to think twice from invading. However, Juri stops as she hears a strange sound; the duo leave their cars as two missiles fly towards them, attacking a nearby building and wrecking their car! The girls help out the attacked civilians as more missiles fly towards them, destroying buildings as Juri attacks headquarters; Goro tells Miura of the attack while Shouhei tries to search for the location of the attack. Yuji finds it at Point 6-3, but Goro notices it's not a Baranoia ship but one Machine Beast, which Miura notices the destructive power as the male Ohranger head out.
On the Moon, Acha presents Kocha to Bacchus Wrath, which he instructs to place the little robot down as they make repairs to him, causing Kocha pain. Bacchus Wrath states the little robot is getting a new upgrade, which Hysteria states is an "Enlargement System" shocking Kocha; Acha wonders if the little robot wants to be stronger to try and calm it's nerves. The emperor offers to improve Acha's mobility as well, likewise implanting the noble on the table as repairs are made on him. Hysteria compliments the ability to use the Enlargement System on Earth while Buldont states their mission was a success and the Ohranger are headed for Bara Missiler as they speak! The emperor states he will go to meet the Ohranger personally.
The Ohranger drive towards the missiles attacking the city, Goro stating the machine empire will pay for their attack. As they arrive, Bacchus Wrath appears before the heroes and introduces himself before summoning Bara Missiler by his side who fires it's missiles towards the Ohranger causing them to avoid attack. The team summon the King Blasters and shoot but it withstands attack making Goro summon his Star Riser and use his Choriki Riser attack to destroy the Machine Beast. But Bacchus Wrath tells the heroes it's too soon to celebrate; summoning Acha and Kocha, the butlers reveal their new ability; Kocha turning into a shot put that Acha wraps around his head until tossing Kocha to Bara Missiler, who uses it's Enlargement System to grow the Machine Beast into a giant, which the emperor introduces to the Ohranger before telling Bara Missiler to crush them. Summoning the Choriki Mobiles, the machines head out and the team immediately combine into Ohranger Robo. Yuji tells the Machine Beast they can't win, but Bacchus Wrath tells Bara Missiler to show it's true strength, the two colliding until the giant Machine Beast pushes the heroes back and fires missiles to further hit them. Bacchus Wrath wonders if the heroes can withstand his weapon as Bara Missiler kicks them around, making OhBlue wonder if they're too strong.
At the emperor's order, Ohranger Robo is chained up with Bacchus Wrath stating that the chains are impossible to break and the Machine Beast is going to throw them into the sun; no matter how strong their armor in, the heroes and mecha will still burn up in the sun regardless! Bacchus Wrath orders Bara Missiler to fly to the sun to trap the Ohranger and mecha into their fiery doom. Yuji asks Goro to do something lest they melt once they reach their neighboring star! Bara Missiler orders the Ohranger to die as it cuts the chains to throw them into the sun and burn Ohranger and mecha to death. With no choice, Goro orders Shouhei to use the Horn Head to cut the chains; but OhGreen states it's too risky yet OhRed stating it's do or die and they have to do it. Using a lever, the "Wing Head" is removed and Ohranger Robo changes to the "Horn Head form, using Choriki Taurus Thunder to obliterate the chains instantly. Yet as they catch fire, Goro orders Juri to use the Dogu Vulcans with the Vulcan Head to repulse their motion away from the sun, which she does before using reverse thrusters to return to Earth.
On Earth, Bacchus Wrath celebrates Ohranger Robo melting into the sun before the team returns to kick Bara Missiler and makes the emperor wonder how they were able to escape! Goro states that Ohranger Robo is invincible as Bara Missiler charges towards them again, but with the team repulsing with the Super Crown Sword. Switching to the Cannon Head, Momo fires the Choriki Moa Cannon; before switching to the Graviton Head and using Yuji's the Choriki Leon Beam to lift the Machine Beast in the air with anti-gravity. After dropping, Gorou returns with the Wing Head and the team finishes Bara Missiler with the Crown Final Crash. Bacchus Wrath states the Ohranger will pay as Acha and Kocha rush off with him.
With the battle over, the Ohranger take a breath of fresh air on the outside while Goro tells Ohranger Robo they'll be counting on it from here on.
